I sometimes have problems with that site, particularly since the new annoying captcha involving the overlapping animals. Usually a few tries reloading the page solves the problem, but occasionally it is just a no-go on that site for a day. No, it isn't just you.

LOL at afk checks for trade spam, but it may at least help a bit. Yes, you can turn off world chat or ignore people, but that isn't a very good way to deal with it imo. I do think that at least banning the 24/7 afk spamming is a good idea.
