To illustrate what I meant, lets take an example we all know. Lets say I am alone at Lady Mel, waiting for her to respawn. Drevo spawns and flags me, I run down (about 1 screen) and kill him. While I am killing Drevo, a player passes behind and stops in front of Lady Mel"s spawn spot. I don't think that by killing Drevo, I am forfeiting my turn on Lady Mel. That is what I was reffering to when I mentionned "relevant" spawn.anarchy wrote:
I think we got off track a little. so according to the rules no matter what the spawn is whether it be lady mel or a skeleton we have to take turns.

according to the rules you left lady mel's spawn to take on another spawn, thus giving your "turn" up. now would i do that to you? nah i can wait for the next lady mel, but others' wouldn't be so nice.
because you can sit far enough up that devo won't even see ya. I get your point. what does happen if your waiting for a spawn and something aggro's you and attacks while your waiting for a respaw? maybe a gm can clear up that ruling, because i just don't know when it comes to that. i guess i'd just mark that one up for a "i can wait till you kill both"

then again wasn't that what the other player was asking? can we share? BUT throwing the rules in your face was a little uncalled for unless someone argued a point? o.OHe ask if i am going to share, and repeats its in the rules i must share.

Holy cow... This is what you people concern yourselves with? What to kill with whom and where? This much debate over who gets what spawn? So very sad.

I thought this was always common courtesy, now adays if one person attacks a monster another person can still come in and fight it down to get looting rights, it's like come on... that's completely uncalled for. It really boils down to good sportsmanship and all.

I usually hunt in areas where i dont see a lot of players. When I do encounter a player I usually let them make the first move. If they want to share the spot or want it i will most likely give it up. If I had just arrived I'll tell them as much but then again I will probably give the spot up. Why? 1. I want everyone to have a good time on here. 2. Lot of kids on here and younger players that might not be able to handle tougher monsters elsewhere 3. I can be too nice for my own good somedays.
There are 2 worlds (tram and fel), several lands, dungens, and a whole pile of free teleporters. With around 200 people playing at any given time I should be able to find a spot without much trouble.
