It sounds to me like maybe you got caught afk'ing and have a problem with the authority involved..

I have nothing but respect for shard staff. Last I looked, those were the authority. In any case, I never intentionally gather resources AFK.

Maybe a little bit contemptuous toward the people who page on you while you are asleep?

As far as I'm aware, no player has ever paged on me for being AFK. I guess you're free to imagine all the drama you like, though.

I fell asleep at the wheel once and woke up in jail.. About a year ago. Simple solution to that.. I drink more coffee so I don't have to give more fake lame excuses as to why I was caught afk'ing.

You clearly didn't notice that I didn't make any effort to excuse my faults. I'm perfectly willing to pay for my mistakes.

I was trying to point out that demonizing other players might lead to less than an optimal game experience, but if that's what drives your boat, by all means, carry on.

why don't you actually play the game you are scripting? and eliminate the whining, and excuses all together. After all, if you are actually playing the game, you won't have to worry as much about being caught afk since you're there n all...

Not picking on any one in particular, but it really doesn't matter in the end if you fell asleep mining, or mine afk on purpose.

I'm tempted to say that I'd love to jump all over any wrong thing you do, but in fact I have no interest in doing so. I run across head-scratching things in-game all the time, but I just don't feel the need to react very heavily because, well, life is short.

That's sort of the point of my posting in this thread. Some people who AFK are in fact grasping low-life morons, but some are just humans. Please proceed accordingly. By all means, report anyone you think is breaking the rules, but don't make us read about it in the forums as well. It is boring, and please stop.

UO being an old game, some of the people who play it are old. I can't mine for long manually, and I can code, so I have a mining script that I enjoyed writing myself from scratch. I understand the rules, and I'm pretty diligent in following them, but sometimes I fall asleep in my chair. It happens, oh, once or twice a year.

It's nice to know that my fellow players would be happy to see me looted, banned, or whatever for being such an imperfect human being.

I have no interest in defending those who have no regard for the rules, but I also have no time for wannabe cops who think they deserve a response every time they yell at a miner. (My habit is to ignore such behavior, unless the person needs help with something.) I don't see the appeal of rampant self-righteousness, but the right thing to do if you're offended is to page staff and let them deal with it. I don't see what further chest-thumping accomplishes.

So basically what you just said is this, You fall asleep in your chair, WHICH by the rules of the shard means, You go afk sometimes due to falling asleep, You are a coder, Yes, But just like anyone else who runs a script, You aren't telling me that you are very responsible.

Happy to see you looted.....banned...Well banned if u are breaking the rules of the shard, isn't what makes you disrepesctful of the rules of this shard, and not very responsible, since the first responsible thing a person who cared would do is "crap im tired, time to turn the script off". And happy to see you looted again...You cannot loot players on this shard, So there goes that theory right out the window.


No interest for defending those who break the rules.....Except for you as you are doing, and did in further posts.....Fell asleep while mining with a script...against the rules. Even if u want to state it as "im old" doesnt matter you are older and should have more knowledge, respect, and responsibility to not perform said things while sleeping.

My analogy to your assurance that this idividual is not an afk miner is like me having the keys to a stolen car thats in my garage with mud tracks stretched all the way from the field to my garage, but Nooo It could not of been me. I was here the whole time haha!

As long as you are not Spawning elementals in the fel entrance anymore to kill anyone who goes afk in there (even if they arent mining or doing anything), then i might take you seriously but if you still are doing that move...then you aren't very trustworthy even on your "proof of pictures" u have.

You are personally attacking me here and yes you are making untrue accusations about me on a public forum. You should refrain from doing so since it is against the rules.. This entire post was about afk miners not the Killing of Miners in the fel passage by Utumno. Even I didnt call out who the people that were afk mining, they were eventually banned unnamed.

Consider this me not putting up with your attacks on people you believe to be in YOUR way and not the way of the shard as a whole. kinda like this over here

So when is this part of the game coming back on? I know Dramoor had said something about some exploits/cheating that was going on in the process of doing the quest chain. But its starting to cut into my business lol..

You proceeded to try to ruin my evening by every 20 seconds Entering my private TeamSpeak channel and screaming as loud as you can, then leave. And pummel me with pms about "The shard is outraged with you and hate u, u should come defend urself" When I never heard one person pm me, or world chat discuss things about me and the paging on exploits in sgail. Unlike you, If you look later in that post, I admitted to doing the "Deed". But what was going on was not meant to be done in said area...After I changed my password to my teamspeak area, You upset other players by complaining and "Man, I cant hack into his room, ive been trying and trying for weeks now".


I am posting this Because he wants to talk about me personally attacking him...Consider it my response to being sick of him attacking me on a numerous different levels. And I do attack people.I attack all that break rules, or exploit or scam new players or afk. You are not safe because you can try to turn words to make yourself seem like a victim. Even my old guild members who left the shard, Have felt what is like to be on the paged on by dramoor side. Guildies, Non Guildies, I don't care who you are. Break the rules, Get called out on it. I play a respectable game, And I respect the staff and players that truely want to play the game and not find some scam or exploit to quickly gain internet friendship or glory. If you want to just cheat your way up, or play the "why me" card, then you should look to someone else for pity/enrollment.

Hey guys.. I luv all of ya'll, I do. Please don't take this the wrong way, but please.. Take this to another thread? I saw the link on the home page meaning there's another post in this thread and I thought it was about the afk mining deal. Now I'm all messed up in a Jerry Springer kind of way No offense at all intended.. Issues do need to be resolved. But it just seems appropriate that it gets settled in another thread after a certain point. You guys should throw down then hug one another
