Lestat's Scavenger hunt Starting

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who has registered for the event and apologize if you were not able to be included. Below is my final list of who is registered to paticipate this time around. If you do not see your name on the list then I did not hear back from you soon enough to get you added to my address book.

Everyone on this List Will have a package from me in your bank box a white package....
Inside you will find 5 collection bags and a instruciton book

The collection bags are for each main task... Collect the items once you finish the final sub task for each level place the bag in the golden collection box that it is ment for ... Do not trade/ or wait to place bags until last minute IE all at once ..
You will have until Saturday Aug 24th 00:00 that is ( aug 23rd 6 pm EST ) to turn in your bags. After this time all collection boxes will stop accepting further turn in's And the event will be considered over. I will announce winners and prizes over the weekend here on the forums ... Prizes will be handed out via a package in your bank box where I can.

A few of the prizes will not be able to be handed out this way.
Each turn in will be worth 5 points for a total of 25 points per task for a grand total of 125 points.
If I have more than 1 first place winner ... Prizes will be split as needed And those that get first place will be entered into
a random drawing for the prizes that cannot be split up.

A special thanks to those that have donated to the event as well I will list your names when the prizes are announced and finalized ...

I have ironed out What i think are all the small bugs ....

A few things to keep in mind ... When doing the hunt not everhting is going to be spelled out in black and white.
You have to search and find some things ... I did this intentionally to make you have to work !

If ANy other major issues arise Send me a PM ... I will be hovering here there and everywhere making sure things are working as they should ...

ALso if you can please each person participating drop me a post here tell me what you think ... Feedback is always a welcome thing.

Some clarifications.

I am getting soem feed back as to confusion on What tasks are what for your collection bags.


Each bag will have up to 5 items in it ..

You have reached the end of a task when you have collected a Crystal Shard ... And exit that area... Put all of your items up to that point into your bag and go to the next task ... TO note you must finish each task to progress to the next set of 5 ... as your further directions will be in the same room where you get the Crystal Shard from ...

Update List of prizes.

Everyone who is paticipating will get a small Goodie bag at the end for participating.
This does mean you have to attempt the hunt ... Turn something in to qualify... Even if it is only from task 1.

Rewards.

1st place 2nd place and 3rd place will each receive a Special Banner.

200 ED. - This will get split if i have more than 1 first place winner

Thank you lestat (and contributors) for the great event. My brain is sufficiently teased. Bayle was an exceptionally creative use of scripting, as well as the other NPCs. I foresee many future events utilizing those password dialogue boxes as well. Thumbs up

A small Update.

Just so everyone knows ... For each task i provided you a bag... Task 1 - 4 will all have a total of 5 items to go in each ... Place your collected items in these bags and place the bag s into the collection boxes after you have gotten your crystal shard ... If you put your items in the collection boxes with out them being in the bags i have set up you will not get credit as i do not know who put them there ... I will just trash the items ... So make sure you deposit them in the bags... I have with Sethras help gone thorugh the time consuming task of Marking every bag with you name and the task number on them so to assure you will get credit ...

Just a reminder to all that are participating ... Turn ins are due in by 00:00 Shard time on the 24th ... If you have not turned in ANYTHING you will not receive your Participation reward... SO be sure to turn in at least your task one bag... to be able to collect your participation rewards...

Thanks Lestat for this great event. There were some hard riddles and mazes. Especially the last maze was very complicated. Bayle was also very interesting. I enjoyed the hunt.

Great event yet again Lestat. I can't for the life of me figure out why so many others don't join. Very unique experience and freebies in the end. Tough mazes and riddles again and yet you kept it on an even play field. I didn't have to worry about being owned by people with full relayers. We all had equal chance of winning it all. It's obvious you put a lot of time and resources into this so thanks again.

I got stuck and couldn't make it past the second task; but I was intent to work it all out but ran out of time.

Any chance of keeping it all running after it's closed, and spoilers are out?
I'd love to run through to the end, particularly to see the NPC interaction with Bayle.

Yes i intended to re open the mazes to the whole shard and let everyone run through them that wans to. A few things need to get moved around but will definatly be able to soon.
