Possibly Moving Mob spawn Location

Is it possible to move a spawn location away from my house? I would give ED to have this happen. Thank you.

No, this isn't something we do. Basically, the mobs spawn where they do; we don't move them as a convenience service.

On a semi-related note, is it possible to bump up the respawn rate on mobs, or give each individual mob its own respawn timer? Clearing an area of mobs and then waiting for them to respawn one at a time every 5 minutes just feels like an eternity.
