hmm mkay my rpd is not maxed yet so i think ill use shield on normal stuff and lose the shield when fighting heavy hitters and gain 30-35% parry chance for those fights.

ive been thinking about losing bushido because of the shield penalty but i really like using momentum strike(DI to Secondary Target : Roughly 100% increase) and lightning strike(20% chance for crit at 120 bushido aka ignore all resistances) when lvling weaps with bad special moves.
+ im a big fan of confidence because of its stam/hp regen specialy the stam regen because confidence doesnt lower your dci 20% like divine fury does .
confidence puts you in stance that lasts for 20 secs where you will regen † Stamina Regain : 1 to Bushido / 5 (1 to 24 at 120) and † Health Regain : 1 to Bushido / 12 (1-10 at 120)upon parrying , + you get 4 secs where you will regen hp based on : (Bushido * Bushido) / 576 + 15 so at 120 bushido you will regen 40 hp, it can be interrupted tho.

i also like bushido for what it adds to ww attacks: Whirlwind : ((# of opponents * Bushido) * (# of opponents * Bushido) / 3600) = Bonus Damage (capped at 100 bonus dmg)

i do use divine fury on bosses or tough paragons if im not tanking because of the 10% dmg increase

sorry for the wall of text but i am kinda geekish and like number crunching

I don't believe Bushido works like it is supposed to on this shard. If you use a 2 handed weapon, or if you use a 1 handed weapon and a shield, the chance to block i believe is no different. There is another thread where Calan made a series of tests on this. I was sceptical still, but I eventually 1 handed my bow and started using a shield, and i saw no difference in the way I get hit. Which supports the research Calan and others have done.

thanks Melkor that really helps alot and i hope it will help many ppl that are pondering over this aswell :)

i will however still be using confidence for stam regen upon parry'd attacks because i dont have relayers yet and dont like the idea of loosing 20 dci divine fury gives
ofc i use divine fury if i find myself getting low on stam
