As of the time I am writing this... 836 views.. about 15 people posted.. 2 of those admins.. at least 2 of the posters are the people making the trouble... a handful of apathetic excuse makers.. less than 5 that want things to be better.. and a few people that just want attention. Discouraging at best.

I've e-mailed +Colibri on this subject. Should you feel passionately enough, I might suggest you do the same. Perhaps you don't want to post here to be publicly ridiculed (understandable). This same pervasive attitude is what is driving the staff and respectful players away. More than likely, +Colibri hears from a) someone who needs something or b) someone who wants to complain about staff. While I don't want to add to his headache, I think he should know what it's become to be a member of this community. Rule-breaking without significant consequence (most times unreported because we know staff's hands are tied), disrespect to the staff for the volunteer work they do here, and constant petty and childish behavior from player to community. To me, this is a pivot point for the shard and myself and the gravity of that situation is one that I feel should be addressed. It appears the forums are not capable of driving this sort of engagement, so I took my request directly to the source. I want to reiterate that this is a special place and I tremendously respect the staff and the vast majority of the players who come here to be good citizens. However, if we allow the trouble-making few to continue to bark the loudest, we are just as responsible for the current situation and the potential negative future of this place as they are.

Perhaps what is encouraging is that the majority of players want to just get on and play the game rather than highlight the sins of the wrongdoers.
I would like to highlight some players who have made this shard fun for me in the almost 2 yrs I have been playing.
Lestat Zero who organised some excellent player led events and who has been always helpful and supportive. Someone I miss from the shard.
Merrilus, where are you? Your sense of humor and fun approach to the game added to my enjoyment of UO.
Til & Birko, who helped me learn the game and never got cross with my endless newbie questions.
All the OrB Guild members
The list goes on NME, Sethra, Catti-Brie, Johnny Blade, Yoda, Pishaw, Hawkie, Zeratul, Coke, Culichi, Glyph to name just a few of the people I have encountered who 'play nice'.

Let's focus on the players and GM's who make this shard great. We really do have a lot to be positive about here.

Michi, I completely agree with you. Some of my favorite players Are Sethra, Vara, Jamkul and all the others at GW guild, Lestat as well. Johnny Dangerously (one of my friends growing up although hes not playing currently) Geo Fizzle, Gaara, Kara Zor-El Miner, Dreamstalker, Luxe, and many others. there are so many great players here. i miss a lot of older players too.

Dude, u're soooooooooo dumb. Accussing without proof (edit: u say u do have them,but commit the same fault u accuse admins of by saying "i will post them later"), from your apparently gargantuesque horse. You were so unpolite when you used to play here, and now you come tossing accusations about ppl who are good, decent players, not only in behaviour but also in their relations with the rest of players.

One thing i've learned is that if someone is fighting all the time with everyone, 100% of the time the cause is with that person, not the rest of the world. But of course, that person never sees it that way.

Edit: and that thing about how long its taking for admins to put up the new lands. Dude have u ever had a job? It's pretty exhausting to wake up when it's not even dawn and go back home with ur brain half-melted. I mean, c'mon.

Edit 2: and what the heck are we talking about here about "getting to the top" and things like that. EVERY player can do EVERYTHING in the game. EVERY player can get top items, complete any quest, relay whatever they want and enjoy the game at its MAXIMUM. I've donated little money and theres absolutely nothing i think i wont be able to do in here. So al l that u are talking about: unfair advantages, unfair penalties, players not being able to enjoy the game just as perfectly as heavy donators.... I am living proof that that is, very plainly, a LIE.

I cared to read again *NAME REMOVED* post (i know,i know...xD) and omg it's so full of lies it's impossible to adress them all. Lots of players left lately? we're at a steady 200 in the evenings! +C is the one of the most polite persons i've ever met. Lestat is ALWAYS helping players. He (*NAME REMOVED*) had "im quitting the shard" in his paperdoll scroll for months, so everyone knew he was quitting. And so many other things.

This is the best server i've been in, and i've played SINCE THE VERY BEGGINING of the game. Since the firsts freeshards appeared back in early 1998. The Staff is great and fair and i've havent have a SINGLE problem in almost a 1000 days of play. 99.9% of players are exquisite in their behaviour and the occasional escuffle is sooooo rare. I didnt even understand the reason for this post. What troublemakers? their number and repercussion is so tiny! I enjoy every single day of play and have encountered zero barriers to develop my gaming experience.

Everything else is smoke (do u say it like that in english? xD its literal from the spanish).
