Since the patch4C i have problem starting UO, i try the large adress aware programm and to boost virtual memory but i still having problems from time to time. Since the last patch the problem increase, this morning it take me 2 hours to log in
So i had to find a true solution...

I found this : you open CMD located in windows\system32 and run it as admin. and you type this BCDEDIT /Set IncreaseUserVa 3072 and guess what i log instantly

Im on win 7 32bits premium familly edition with 4Gb or ram.
I hope it can help someone to not throw the computer in the wall like i almost do this morning.

Thanks for sharing your solution!
Patch 4c is the old one from june, the new patch from a few days ago in september is called "Expatch11" (we went to a different labeling system). Do you mean that this is an issue with this most recent patch?
Related possible solution: you could try running the "client_lowmemory_NoLargeAddressAware.exe" that's in the folder. Basically, the client.exe is now already altered with the "large address aware" program. But the no-LAA one is there for those with less than 2gb ram, and possibly it also has something to do with you having a 32-bit system. (most new computers since about 2008-2010 came out as 64 bit, so by now their share in people's homes probably significantly outnumbers 32-bit ones).

Hi +C, the problem begin with the 4C but since the Expatch11 it was worst, i try the "client_lowmemory_NoLargeAddressAware.exe" but it was not working either. I know my computer is old but the essential is that i can run UO now

thx for your answer.
