Relayer Question: Weapon to Weapon

Haven't found anything about relaying a weapon onto another weapon (other than the wiki says you can make it go from a 2h to a 1h)

If anyone knows, I'm looking for what happens in the following example below:

WEP A
level 100
Damage 50%
Hit Chance 25%
Hit Lightning 60%

WEP B
level 100
Hit Chance 35%
Hit Fireball 60%

If I relayed WEP A onto WEP B:

1) Can you even relayer a leveled weapon onto another leveled weapon?
2) If you can, does it combine (up to the cap) so that HitChance would become 60%?
3) If you can, does it just take the highest of the same prop and leave that? (damage50,hci35,hitlightning60,hitfireball60)

Im sure someone here would know, thanks :D

I don't know for sure but most likely it fails with an error message because the relayer is not a valid sample item.

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback. I kinda thought that might be the case or else we'd see some super maxed weps floating about more frequently than I do.

Cheers

I think that it's more likely that one will wipe the other. When you perform a relayer, you take the stats from 1 item and they completely replace what the other stats were on the item you're relayerong into. The only thing that is preserved is the graphic and slot the item fits. It even overwrites the blessed property. I relayered a SOP into a hooded shroud and the blessed property disappeared.
