10k gp. Small BOD of your choice. I specifically need quite a few to fill large BODs and I would pay to get them. This could be a gold stone item.

way to cheap nice idea but price off by a mile

takes 6 bods to to fill a very good large with a chance at a 5million gp item.
maybe if it was set at 250k

Think bod of your choice is miss, it goes against usage of resources, cause middle and low grade resources will stay almost or unused.
Maybe make it even more painful and add requirement, must be crafter with runic tool
Anyway if, than think Arni is closer to truth with price tag.

I think small BOD of your choice would make it too easy to get the high level rewards, which would de-value them.

What might be more feasible is some kind of BOD recycler, where you have to throw in a number of small BODs that you don't want and gold to get a random BOD back, maybe with the option to add more gold and more BODs for a higher likelihood to get a higher material BOD out. This would help reduce the number of trash BODs out there and potentially act as a gold sink.

Unless +C changed the bod system you can get a bod for every bod you turn in to the black smith so a trade in system already exists. The difficulty is most people only want to fill the valuable bods for example bods that give powder of fort and I understand why, no one wants to put in all that effort for a small reward in return. Sadly you can’t automate your bods either because of afk checks. I believe you should be able to afk craft / fill bods since you’ve already gathered the resources so you’re just converting them.

Here is what I am talking about. Perhaps only the lower level BODs then. I have tons of others but only missing the one for this stack. Seems to be a "'shortage' of 20 Exc. Barbed Leather Gorgets.

All of them have such problem, love getting eight 20x platinum platemail leggings and not getting one arms(for example) . My guess is forced interaction between players to buy and sell bods they seek.
Anyway have no idea that's intended or just being visible cause we have bigger amounts here.
Guessing someone have many gorgets and cannot get something you have. in a big stacks.

Your skill level also makes a difference in what bod you get. The higher your skill the higher the quality will be. It’s best if you have Alts at different skill levels to get different bod variations.

Tell that to my character that has 150 tailoring with gear on that turned in 40 filled smalls and got 4 colored leather smalls, one large colored, and 35 cloth BODs.

Unless its changed recently - worn skill clothing or holding +skill tool has no effect on type of BoD one gets. Its only your "natural" skill, that is up to 120 that determines it.
I queried +R about whether holding a +skill tool helps get better BoD's some years ago and was told that worn or held gear have no effect at all when turning in a BoD and getting a new one.
Whether true or not I don't really know - just believed what a gm told me.
