trying to get 2 pets to attack each other

hey guys...

I am trying to raise my vet skill (now 35) - so I'm trying to get my two tamed polar bears to attack each other and heal them. I made a guild and everything - but the bears just refuse to attack each other.

I read about the "all guard me" thing - and I tried that, and that changed the bears status bars to green, but they still wont attack each other. I give the command "a kill" and target the second bear, but the bear i gave the command to just starts running on the spot. Thats it - it doesnt move, doesnt attack, or anything.

Any ideas? am i doing something wrong?

i suggest to give damage, attack your pets also you will rise wrest and sw mf skills.

They won't attack each other, I think it is something specifically for this shard (though not 100% since I was never a tamer before this shard :p). But, if you wish to raise your vet I agree with Qualance, Wrestling is the way to go. Go grab an Echee, use it's ability points (it comes maxed out for levels) to raise it's Physical Resist to max, then use the remainder on hit points. Start attacking it with just fists and set up a nice razor macro, I made 100 overnight doing this.

I attacked one of my bears and set up a healing macro with a 3.5 second timer - and now im a GM vet! (I also went from 0 to 100 wrestling as well ^_^ - bonus!) - used about 1200 or so bandages, but might have been less because I wasnt paying attention to that computer when it hit 100vet

Ok, I am obviously doing something wrong here and I'm sure it's something simple. I have tried and tried to attack my bear and all we do is stare at each other. I tried with my horse just for variety and no luck, he just looks at me like he wants another apple. What am I doing wrong? I am unarmed, I have no shield, I have tried in war mode and peace mode. I have tried in my house I have tried outside of my house. I don't think I have tried in the middle of town but I wanted to spare myself the embarasment of trying to fight with a bear and have it just laugh at me. I have gotten my vet up to 70 by leveling my pets and bandaging them after each point I give them, man that's tiring. Any and all help is appreciated.

I think it's because of the way the shard is setup. Can't get your pets to attack you or another pet so it's kind of annoying.
What i did was tame an eechee, dump all his points into health, and have him attack a bull in delucia and just healed away. A bit slower but it worked.

you can only attack your pet while if u are in a guild and said your pet all guard/guard me etc. (pets status bar must green), i thing you miss that point. its the only way to attack your pets.

İ like this shards restrictions about pet attacking. i played many shard before, almost every shard i had tamer sometimes from lag or wrong selection on monster/pet mountain u can wrongly attack your pets or another ones pets etc, all time results will be complately dead.
