Are Moonstones available or are they going to be considered in order to increase traffic to Felluca? I am not sure if I am just too new to this shard or not, but it seems that the travel while in Felluca is next to impossible for me. I cannot make it more than 10 screens from the gate before I have 5-6 Umm's on me and then am forced to tele hide or just die. Is there no other form of travel to or from Felluca other than the one main gate?


You will have to forgive me if I am beating a dead horse or if this topic has already been covered. I performed a search and havent gotten any results regarding the topic.

Moonstones are not in game ( Yet ) Crosses fingers.. if you are new its more wise to build your char before you head out to fel as it is a harder place for younger char to go.

Copy that, Ramious. I am nearing 2 months on this shard, however, am not only learning the custom additions but the advancements in UO since AoS. I played back in 1997 when this software was BETA, but am glad to see it has continued and branched out into the free server community. Love the shard and look forward to learning more and more. I appreciate the quick response and information a lot.

Keep up the good work! I for one would love moonstones on this shard as your entire layout is perfect for it. They would have to be harder rather than easier to obtain though. I realize I am new here and hope I am not speaking out of turn on that fact alone, but I would like to nominate a poll for the addition of Moonstones. I am all for them, however, some veteran players may not find them necessary or wanted, might be a good idea to get a community perspective. Although I found them to be incredibly handy in the past it maybe the players decide that if it isnt broke, dont fix it..

Wow, that takes me back. I remember using moonstones to get to Fel on OSI (Great Lakes) in the old days, ten years ago, I guess. I remember them as one-use items.

Yea, they worked both ways. When in Felluca you could find Rune Stones for Trammel and vice versa. It was a small stone and once clicked it would set an internal timer, the stone would glow blue as the player placed it in the earth, and a gate would open for approx. 10 seconds. The gate would allow travel in between worlds as they were mirrored opposites of each other (Trammel/Felluca). This was very common, about 10 years ago, lol. Very True!

This will never happen for two reasons:


1. the content available in felluca is supposed to be limited access, this is why there are so many "Barriers" preventing easy access. which to me is fine, harder to get to = better loot = funner game

2. if these were implemented it would trivialize felucca's main entrance, which was put in place for a reason. Generally when an administrator goes at length to set something up a specific way, they did so for a reason.


There are two main access points to felucca, all are within ten minutes running distance (15 tops) for all but the most obscure locations (Such as Hythloth)


Locate the forget/remember gate, learn your dungeon sparkles and find out how to travel in felluca and you fill find that getting around isn't as hard as it seems.

Of course, i've been playing this game so long i don't even need the map in most cases. It's sort of funny, i know this games geography like the back of my hand but i couldn't tell you where the state of indiana is.

I completely understand Gwen. Thanks for pointing this out for us concerning Moonstones on this shard. You did strike my interest when mentioning the "Sparkles". Do the normal ways of getting to Felluca still work, like the secret passage to Delucia from the southern mountain entrance in Trinsic? You had mentioned that the admins had blocked a lot of passages. I am just curious if I could get a map of sorts to show these areas that are still active for travelling to Felluca.

And no nicko, the old ways do not work... You must be in fel period to travel across the lands to your destination... Two ways to enter fel, and your on foot the rest of the time, which includes going to the Lost Lands, etc...

And yes Sparkles lol... Check out Covetous Mountain and there is a code to enter the dark side, as well as re-entering the good side .. Safe journey
