Shard rule about the champ gold is splitting. But i wish it more clear, splitting near the altar.

Today at the ice champ, a player took all the gold and run away. So we have to pm him for sharing. At last, we were asked to go to vesper bank for gold. But I was planning to go to Moonglow for Eidolon. So i had to give it up and recall back for gold.

I hope the rule more concrete: split the gold near the altar if no objection.

Back in my day, usually everyone went to a certain bank and it was split there.
Not a bad suggestion though, I have seen it be split at the altar lately, and this might be simpler because I know someone can get lost when going to a bank.

I have changed the codex from:
Players need to split the gold from a champion spawn
To:
Players need to split the gold from a champion spawn at the altar

Might as well make it so that the champ itself splits the gold and puts the gold into everyone's pack, though the gold falling and the explosions are a really cool thing to see

if you can, it's a great idea that everyone receive a check after the champ!

But splitting gold is also good, good for communication. If ppls get checks after champ, they will fly away. No chat during the splitting.

Ive done a few champs and seen people running around the gold piles apparently with scavange on then dissapearing, or claiming the dead champ before anyone has any chance to split the loot..Fair? NO..Selfish? YES but some players are like that so dont let it sour your fun.

In future if you have the cheek to start a new post on this you might want to start by doing things right yourself.

Just did a champ with this joker and before my guild could get a share of the money they do a disappearing act. Lucky enough caught the one guy before he went and he gave us some money in the end, huh.

So don't come on here complaining about something, then do that to someone else!

Aha, don't complain. I was still there because i want to make sure everything is ok. Not that lucky enough to catch me. I will make sure everyone is fine. Unlike the "jokers" as you said, just run away. You can ask Layfon Alseif in your guild that i asked "everyone is fine?" just in front of you. You can also ask GM to check the log. I did the splitting wrong and i responded. I stayed and gave you my share.

The mistake is that when i was splitting, i counted 7 ppl near the altar. Several minutes after splitting is done, three LMCs came back and said that i did wrong splitting. One who didn't join the champ also came.

So what's the funny thing? You run away from the altar and came back when i splitted in wrong number? And please don't call other players jokers.

And at last, i gave you my share. I didn't take any money because i made the mistake that didn't count absent players. You got more gold then you should. Why you still unhappy.

You didn't miscount like you make out, you said "mr X" said he didn't want any, that was about a guy in my guild, and he was standing next to me waiting. And even he said he didn't say anything but you tried backing out of it.

So before you try backing up and riggling out of this, be a man and own up.



That is last thing I'm posting on this because i can already see where this will go when one person feels his been dealt a short hand but then thinks its ok when he is the one dealing.

Ok, i miscounted. But people may make that kind of mistakes. I stayed and gave your my share. Did i do something wrong? later I found that someone, maybe not you, moved from the altar somewhere to curve or kill something. Maybe i didn't miscount you, but someone else.

I am not backing up, i just want to make my statements more clear. Sorry for this.

Aye i moved from the alter and killed a snake way after champ was done want the 12 gp from that cause i left it on corpse -=)

I dont know the facts because I wasnt there. But it by reading the posts, Holypal made a mistake, admitted it, and tried to make up for it by taking a loss. Sounds justified and forgivable to me. Chill out.

I don't understand why there is still issues towards this. There is no need for it. There was no gold ever stolen from you or anyone during a champ. Please, don't make up lies its rude and unnecessary there's no need to call out an entire guild for an issue you may have with one player in it. You made a mistake in counting, it was fixed no big deal. Next time just take your time and double check how many players are there so there are no problems .

Because of how long it takes to split gold i generally dont even bother with the pitiful amount of gold a champ drops and just recall away anyways.... waiting for some ppl's math is too tiring...

kill like 20 decent mobs and you can get the same amount of gold as your share in a 2-4 man champ...
