Pets on champ

Is it possible to reduce the pets' damage to champ to be 1/5 or 1/10? Because several times i saw a few ppl bring tons of max imp pets took down the champ in a few seconds, like Neira and Barracoon. Other ppls without pets only gave a few shoots and got nothing even they killed most of the spawns before the champ.
Maybe MoA champs don't need this, newbies still need pets to kill it.

I wouldn't necessarily change it to where pets do less damage, that could make them tough to kill in general, but it is frustrating to run the newbie champ and work plenty all the time, then have 2 people with 5 mules or nobles each come in and just hose out the Newbie Champ in a matter of minutes.

Newbie champ is MoA champ. As i said, MoA champs maybe don't need to change. But the OSI-like champs do.

Uh ... I don't know if the other champs really need changing, but I do feel bad for the newbies who get bumped just because they can't afford all the nobles or don't have the ability to control them. Not only that, but levelable weapons are pretty pricey too for a newbie, so especially if they haven't played UO before they would have a hard time with the money.
Granted, I have a hard time with it too, but I rack it up to the fact that my intelligence is fairly low for all the spamming I've done. I get frustrated for the time wasted, but I really can only blame my stats. I've made the adjustments I can, and I guess it's off to buy LMC armor and such soon, but I'm trying to adjust to do better against MoA.
In any case, the newbie champs are designed for noobs, and if you are able to obtain so many nobles or other pets that require over 100 taming, you can easily go on to do the other champs. There's plenty of them to go around.

It would be great if champs were invalid targets for pets, unless the player still had their "young" status.
Really, if you've been playing for a month, you can swing/shoot just about anything at a champ and do enough damage to get a scroll, given that the amount of pets being used would be greatly reduced.
The only real problem I see with this would be Kronos... and I have no suggestion for that scenario, lol. God forbid champs require some group effort

Neira, Barracoon, Semidar and Rikktor are much easier to be killed than MoA. MoA has very high resist.

--Now, I'm new to the shard... so don't all jump on me for my opinion... but..
In my opinion, if you nerf pet usage at a champ spawn too extensively, you're discriminating against the tamer playstyle.. not only that but it also negatively affects the economy in terms of pet breeding, bio-engineering/etc which seems to be a rather large part of the shard. Plus pet usage is the only way people who prefer a "healer" style character can do enough damage to a champ to get their own scroll, as healing (rightly so) does not count towards damage done to an enemy.

Pets are very powerfull in this shard. No one can do the same damage as 5 max nobles. I only talk about champs. There are two points:
1) One only need to do 500 damage to get a scroll. 5 max pets can do far beyong it.
2) If two or three ppl bring total 20 nobles, maybe others can't give a shoot on the champ, and they can't get a scroll. It's not fair. This indeed happend a lot at Doom champ.
So reducing the damage of pets on champ (except MoA) will not reduce the chance of a tamer to get scroll, and will increase the chance for others. It's about the champ only, max pets/bio still needed for all other mobs.

The current champ system that is in effect, seems more than fair. Not sure if anyone has ever tried doing a champ on OSI servers? A few people kill the entire spawn and even the champ, only to be greeted by PK'ers to come out and kill the champers and take the power scrolls and gold for themselves, with no involvement in the killing of the champ at all.
Point I'm trying to make is, many of us seem to take things we have here for granted and want things tweaked to our very own play style as opposed to the play style of the masses. Vet players who have max'd out nobles or bio's and such, didn't just have those handed to them (in most cases). Per say, your plan works out the way you're hoping, someone who is doing the entire champ alone and solo'ing the champion itself, should have to suffer a 1/10th of the dmg output with their pets on the champ?
Adapt and overcome. Sure some newer players might not be capable of producing the same dmg output with their pets or weapons. That gives that person even more incentive to try to become more capable of increasing their abilities/utilization of their future pets to increase their dmg output on champs. Pets have always been a HUGE part of Ultima Online. OSI servers didn't nerf the masses to cater to the few who chose not to use pets. The system we have is more than fair, as opposed to pretty much anywhere.

Everything should be changed. I mean it is really unfair that people who have put more into this game then me have better pets and weapons. They are able to kill monsters in a a fraction of the time it takes me to. This is %87.3333 repeating of course. Unfair and needs to be fixed!
Not only champ spawns but i have seen players at the brit bank with relayer armor and weapons! I do not have any of that. They do so much more damage then me some of them could even solo a champ spawn WITHOUT pets. unless this is fixed and the people who put more into this game then me are brought back to my level or I am raised to there level for free I will take my ball and go home!

Guess you're gonna have to take your ball back home, why penalize those who put in the effort and work, those players didn't get where they are by simply coasting through the game, it took real hard work.

You said it, they have worked their butts off for what they have!
Sound to me like you want it all but dont want to work for it!
Reverse the roles for a minute and ask yourself if you would be down with the suggestion you just made!

I agree! It costs good money to play this shard for free!!

You know you dont have to donate to get Ed's, you can buy them from exex or other players, might take longer but still possible, so in fact you dont need <good money> to play this free shard and be at their level.
A lot of people say they dont have moeny to doante, think of it this way, do you go to the movies, do you smoke, just cut back on 1 thing per week and you will have money to donate, but dont ask other to be penalized because you think that the gear some players have makes it unfair.

I guess my sarcasim was lost.
The point was I have seen many posts in the last month wanting rules to be changed to make things fair. The truth is this game is not fair. Life is not fair. I am sorry if you are not in a situation in your life to donate to get ED's. I am sorry if you have other obligations that keep you from playing as much as others and it keeps your from being as advanced in game play.
Really I am sorry but its not my fault. It's not the shards fault it not the staffs fault.
This game is just like any other game. YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.
Please stop trying to change my game play experiance because you are not able to put as much time,money or effort into the game as I am.
I don't dislike anyone and I would do what ever I could to help people with there goals. I am all for people bringing new ideas to make this shard better.
I can not however support the ideas we have been seeing of just making things more fair or easier because people are not able to put as much into this game as others.
We have staff looking into changing things that don't need to be changed and it's keeping them from doing things like fixing real bugs and adding content.

Ah!... thats better, i didn't realy understood why you were saying these things, kinda caught me offguard there ^^
