Here's the March Event... Think up an Event for April. Here's the rules:

1) It must be legal and able to do. For example, let's cast a vote but you can't vote for yourself (I can't see the votes)
2) Must not include auctioned items: Must be fair.
3) Can not include the GM's or Admins: they have to stay neutral.
4) Has to be long enough for a month but short enough not to go over a month.
5) Has to be rated G
6) No drama
7) only 1 entry per name (for voting purpose's)


I may change the rules as i'm not as clever as some of the people here.

top prize: 250 eds.
Second prize: Cap of Knowledge with 400 luck on it.
Third prize: A big Thank you. (i'll proly toss in a bio or something)

ok, heres the plan!
pool together fishing nets, and get like 5 ancient sos scrolls. get a few dedicated net throwers and toss out like 20 nets each at the ancient sos location, finishing with a leviathan once a week.

Battle Chess tournament

-Battle Chess board is located at excelsior halls (from the teleporter head north along the road than it is just off it to the east).

-Tournament can either be bracketed or round robin (if round robin, certain number of points given for win, stalemate (can the script detect stalemate?), loss. ex: 5 points for win, 3 for stalemate, 1 for loss

-Up to the two participants in a match/round to coordinate when to meet up to play.

-Up to participants to determine who is white and who is black (example, roll some dice and high number is white). Another way I was thinking of possibly doing this is every match is best out of 3. That way each person has a chance to be white.

-Winner and loser must present the tickets they get to whoever is running the tournament (Anarchy I would guess) to record who won and lost (Both people bring tickets for verification purposes).

-Must complete each round before a certain date/time (say 3 days after matches are set) to make sure that the event is completed in a reasonable time.

-Winner in round robin is the one with the most points, second place is the one with second most points, etc...
In case of a tie another match is played to determine winner
Bracket the winner is the one that wins all the matches , second place is who he/she played against. Third place match
would have to be set up

-While It is not necessary for someone to watch each game it might be a good idea to make sure the matches are not being lost on purpose to help a guildie or something of that nature.


Was going to run this myself but don't really have the time right now to do it. Not sure if there is anything else I want to add to the rules since I have not had a lot of time to work on it

submit your entry in this post. then on the 23rd at 00:00 shard time (or around that) i'll post a voting poll which you the players vote on. remember this is not a popularity contest. please vote for the idea you think you'd like to see for april not oh he's my friend so i'm gonna vote for him. This was set up because so few people got involved with the singing event/video event. so i thought if you guys pick the contest more players would be willing to participate.

My idea is an Excelsior Comic.

This can be taken however you like. You could make a single image with a funny caption, a series of images with text, it could be comedic, serious, noir (rated G obviously) an ongoing saga... Whatever you want. Don't just rip-off ImANoobie either lol...

I think this would be fun and anyone at any level would be able to make something interesting. It just takes some imagination...

A themed photo event:

1 person must have a snapped photo of a themed event: can be anything from a movie scene, daily life events recreated in the game, a group photo of ghostbusters or something. There also has to be a title along with your photo.

Has to be creative to get attention then the top 5 out of the bunch will be handed picked to be put up for voting.

Submitting will be no later than April 25th.
