I can't sell my account but I would love to give my things away for a personal donation.

Are you sure that you can sell accounts here? I was curious, so I looked in the uoex.net Codex and saw the legal section:


7. Legal:
b. All the objects and entities in the game are the property of UO Excelsior Shard.
d. Please do not sell the in-game objects for real money. This is a request, it's not forbidden. Know that this is a freeshard, running on donation money.

From what's listed here, you simply play a character, but it is the propert of UO Exelsior.

It's with a heavy heart that I have to leave, and I don't want to debate legalities but
I am selling my time invested into the account. Interpret that gray area however you prefer.

The way I read it, selling items is not actually forbidden anyway but I'm not selling items even.

Bolded for those who have issues reading

1. d. Use of another person's account is forbidden.

So, if you were to give someone the items on your account, that's not a problem (regardless of whether he/she gives you something in return, IRL, before or after... we can't see whether a transaction took place).
But as soon as that person would log on to your account, he/she is breaking the multi-account rule (jail/ban and deletion of items may occur).
