Hello to all Excelsior,

Well. I have received some wonderful feedback from everyone as to interest so I have decided to start moving forward with this event. Due to the nature of this being a player run event keeping track of those who wish to participate is paramount.

That being said... registration to participate will be required. Below is a list of those of you that posted your interest on my previous post. Please reply with your in game Character name (if it is not your forum name) So that I can get things setup.

Event registration will start as of today March 29th 2013. Registration will end on Thursday April 4th at 11:59 PM shard time.
All event times and dates will be shard time based so you can use [time command in game to find out the current time and date for your time zone.

The Hunt will be a 3 week event. We will have a kickoff meeting on Sunday April 8th at 00:00 (12 AM) shard time. (This will be Saturday evening for anyone in the US ) On this day you will receive a bag with your name on it... Inside this bag will be an address book. Each person will need to add me to your address book so that you will be able to send me packages. I will have address books pre loaded with wax and scrolls to pay for postage. I will in turn add each person that participates to my own address book.
On the other 2 weeks you will receive a package in your bank box from me with a Bag that has your name on it. Inside this bag will be a book with what you need to collect and send back to me using the in game postal service. You will be required to send your completed package (Bag / book full and with any answers that need to be added to the book) to me by the end of the day on each Thursday (11:59 PM shard time).... You will get your next week’s package during the afternoon either on Friday or Saturday.

The awards ceremony will be on Saturday April 27th or May 4th time & date are still to be determined as it will be a Grand party with +Nyx as our gm host. More information regarding this to follow.

How a winner is chosen:
Each item collected will be worth a number of points... At the end of the 3 weeks points will be tallied and the person (or persons) with the most points will win. (In the event of a tie I will have either a tie breaker riddle with the first one to answer correctly will be named the winner)..
I have several prizes for people to win and everyone who participates will get a special party favor if you attend the grand party at the end of the event.

I have yet to get all prizes so I have not yet figured out what first place will get vs. 2nd place etc but the prize list currently consists of.

1 Ultimate Spell book - Donated by Myself
1 Item bless Deed - Donated by Myself
1 token check for 350k tokens - Donated by Rune Leafsong
350 ED - - Donated by Myself
1 chest full of GM Made food and items ( there are 20 in it so far) - Donated by Myself
1 Stronger box - Donated by Nagash

I will also raffle off to all participants some of the contents of what you collect. So this will be a surprise of what these items are until the end.

This Scavenger hunt will not be like any that you have likely done in the past as it will require you to visit other player houses and to interact with some in-home npc's that will be available.

Rules:
1: Be patient please I am working within a rather large set of restrictions since this is a player run event
2: Please try not to use the internet to find riddle answers. Try to figure them out for yourself
3: Please Do not discuss answers or give other participants items to help them complete the hunt
4: Have some fun.
