hello everyone! keg prices way too low
Re: hello everyone! keg prices way too low
It's easy, create your keg one time and remember each step. After, in the maccro section of uorazor, record each step until your keg is completed and loop...
Everything started with nothing...

Why is the mistletoe hanging over the baggage counter?” asked the airline passenger, amid the holiday rush.
The clerk replied, “It’s so you can kiss your luggage good-bye.”
In Game Name :- penfold if you need to pm me anything

If it's just a question of looking for the wrong tool then it can be easily changed. Just replace the ID of the old tools with the ID of the tinker tools from EX (you can get it inside UO by using #lobjectID).

+1 rampage, anything that earns gold needs to be afk checked
+1 Locke, if you dont have razor, you should get it. that being said, pen if you are making yours by hand then an afk check will be no problem bud

Re: hello everyone! keg prices way too low
Greatest thing about a free market economy is the "invisible hand" that seems to drive it. That same invisible hand is also the leading factor of it being successful, this is somewhat basic economics. To tell someone they have to charge more or less for something is almost taking away the success of the market. We are all in essence different countries trying to bid for products at the best price in our own world economy.
I do all my own keg making for my bees, and i only bought the kegs when i first started off because i didnt have the skill to make them. During the time i was doing this, i did purchase my kegs from the exex, and i noticed in two weeks the prices of kegs rise dramatically, up to 6k at one point. I thought to myself, who in their right mind would pay this. Surely enough those prices fell back down a few days later, and probably wont see prices that high b/c it didnt work. If no one feels one keg is worth 6k, then they simply wont pay it.
If you want the gm's to be the keepers of the prices of "our" market, then its not a free market then. Which means u simply can't single out one item and expect them to change it. Then why not go and change the prices of everything till someone stops complaining about it. Because the market would be dead then. I wish crafting was more profitable, but we all know better gear is typically found.
When i first started playing this game i went into crafting first, now that i came back a year later and decided to start all over again, i chose hunting. There is no comparison to how much money i have made hunting compared to crafting. It almost makes crafting useless because it can't compare, unless u want to be the one creating stuff for your house. I think let whoever, charge whatever, and if they fail or succeed, is up to the market.

Re: hello everyone! keg prices way too low
An empty keg costs 7 ingots and 23 wood to make. At exex prices it's about 330 gold. A full keg's worth of potions costs anywhere from 1050 (G-agi)to 2450 (G-heal), assuming you buy reagents off exex. So while people selling empty kegs actually make a profit when selling them at 500-900, those who sell full kegs at 999 are losing their money (they'd be better off selling the reagents on their own). But they still do it, mostly because it's their money - they can use it in whatever way they can. Should philanthropy be banned because people give their money away?
As a side note - collecting enough reagents for a single keg is not an easy (I mean fast) task even at the citadel or anywhere else. The argument that the reagents are 'free' is basically moot, because they are not free as far as the time to obtain them is concerned. And I think time is the thing everyone values most.

Stable economy = stable supply, stable demand and stable prices. What you're describing is unstable economy.to keep a stable economy we must have steady item supply vs new and fresh items vs changing prices
Re: hello everyone! keg prices way too low
Kegs are being sold at 999 because there is a "keg war" going on. One person thinks the kegs should be higher priced, the other thinks they should be lower. As a result they are being sold at 999 and will probably continue to be sold as such until one party gets tired of losing money
Re: hello everyone! keg prices way too low
999 is a good price for kegs, you can make money selling them, i profit from every sale on it, i get lazy to restock though

Re: hello everyone! keg prices way too low
I suggest the law of supply and demand will take care of this.
