Vendors for newbs

Just started and looking for basic items. Full spell books, armor/weapons usable with lower stats, etc. All vendors have crazy items that just don't apply yet!

What's a newbie gotta do for some starter gear?!

Check various guild shops (World Tele -> Shops), like RBG, SoT, ILV etc.
