Wraith Form & Mana Drain

Hello Everyone, this is my one of my first posts on the forum and I first and foremost want to thank everyone on the staff for providing such a wonderful server with such fun features. I have been playing for 32 days so far and have had a great time. The only problem that persists since the beginning of my journey here is as the topic mentions, Wraith form provides no mana drain effect. I've talked to a few staff members about the problem and would really like to do my best to get it fixed. I've been playing with RunUO and Sphere and stuff for years and I think I personally can provide the script to fix this problem if it is easiest for everyone.

This afternoon on my lunch break I spoke with +Chaos for a little bit about how Wraith form doesnt seem to provide mana drain to me at all. I let him know that on my own RunUO server (which is very bleak and empty) I did manage to get the mana drain property to work, and he suggested that I talk to +Colibri about it. I searched the forum to see if anyone else experienced this issue, and the only relevant thing I found was a post from two-three years ago (2008) that had mentioned the two problems I had with wraith form. {1.) Mana Drain 2.) Ethereal walk through ability}. Really the ethereal walk through thing is no big deal, I used to enjoy that property when I PVP'd and needed to fly through a bunch of enemy faction members.

So unless this issue has been fixed and somehow I am denied the benefit of the mana drain, I have tested it with my guild mates and none of us seem to be able to gain mana drain from wraith form. Not from melee or from spells. We even tested it essentially naked, (Magery book, necro book, 2 runebooks, and spellcaster keys only). I would like to do whatever it takes as a member of the community to help patch this issue up. I am willing to donate, submit the script, test the script with staff, help with other/similar/like issues, or whatever it takes to get this patched up because it would benefit all of us who prefer necromancy as a first answer to any in game problem.

Hey so it has been five days, and twenty people have looked but nobody said anything? Is there not something I can do to ensure that I gain the desired effect from my skill?

I read that Colibri said that bugs like this are generally only fixable by him, and if the bug does not cause the client to crash or perform negatively he may not get to it for days months or even a year. But the last post I read about this was dated in 2008.

I'd really like to help! Any input would be great so I can continue doing my best to help.
