I have had the client go out of sync whereas I would need to re-sync (or re-log) because I was not where my character
appeared to be. I am sure someone will step in to help soon :)

1) What kind of PC are you running the game on?
2) How old is your Game client installation? (Maybe a fresh install would remedy things?)
3) Did you try to run the game by itself? (no razor or scripts etc...) to eliminate them as a cause.
4) Could it be that the Excelsior client is conflicting with other material?

As I mentioned above, you can re-sync your client using razor. To do this, go into the Hotkey section
and expand the Miscelaneous tab. Look for the action "Resynchronize Client". You can hit Execute
and see if that sets things right.

These are some of the things that I have some across in my time here that will hopefully help you.
I hope you will be able to get this resolved :)

I have Done many of the suggestions you have suggested already...

I have acutally had +V see the bug himself and it effected him just as well as me... ( it happens to every person who walks over this area ) ... you take fall damage ...

+V agreed with me that it was a bug of some sort that is server side... I posted the post more to see if the server acutally was rebooted or if it was just an isp thing because the issue did not get resolved ...

I have even gone to the point of deleting the house layout and comiting it to a blank house pad and still had the same issue.

I am running off of a dual 6 core amd system with 32 gigs of ram 2 gb video ram ... ( I know it is not my computer :-P) ... video drivers are all up to date ...
I have run into the error without razor and with razor ..
I have Resynchronized the client...
I even did a fresh install of the client ( to a seperate computer all togeather ) all with the same results ...

Thanks for the debug ideas though... good tips to follow in general before reporting any bug...

When you say that you wiped the house and then rebuilt it, did you rebuild it exactly the same or a complete different house layout. There are some flooring types that just don't work on this server. They look ok, but you sort of fall through them it you try to walk on them. Try replacing the floors where you have problem with a different floor style, that may fix the problem.

well if your referring to the green tiles than those only work if you have the 5.0.9.1 patch if not they look black and you fall right through them i myself have no problems with any of the tiles but i do have 2 bugged houses that cause falling damage i wiped one but the other even when we moved it it still causes problems when running on certain squares

I'm one of the first people to have this problem and I worked with +Colibri on it. If its the same issue i had, It's not a problem
With his house, but with the map. At the time +C didn't have a fix, but a server restarted fixed the problem for me, or rather move the problem elseware. Maybe at subsequent restarts your problem will be fixed. Or if you don't have a premium location, page to have your house moved, they might move it for free because of the problem. Good luck mate, and please keep us posted.

I have thought of the idea of moving the house ... the issue is it s 8 houses all linked togeather ... If you know of a spot where 8 18x18 s can be placed togeather then I will go that rout and try to move the whole thing...
I have been searching for weeks and would even be willing to pay a few ed / gold to find a new spot.

( and to comment on Rossi s post )
I am fully patched and up to date with the same client ... I didn't have the issue until the last big server crash ...
That s why i am currently suspecting that the receient server downage was not a server reboot but an isp issue ...
... I will keep you posted on how things get resolved ...
In the mean time i will be continuing to look around for a spot for 8 18x18 plots to be put down ...

multicache.dat file contains housing saves. If you run into "invisible walls" in your home, or take fall damage, try this fix.
1. shut down UO
2. find your UO files (they usually are not in c;/prog files. Check C:\Users\{Your PC Name}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files. You should see a UO folder in there. Open that up til the Desktop screen, then UOEX, then your chars name)
3. Delete multicache.dat
4. Restart UO. Issue should be fixed (your UOAM may take a bit longer and/or lose its house save file from this)

This should fix any invisible walls you run into in your own home, as well as potential fall damage.
If you have sunk your house (basement or foundation), this will most likely fix your issues.

It was a server bug... +Coli confirmed it... the server reboot fixed it all ...
But I traded those plots anyway ... I'm building a new small city ... 13 plots so far and growing :-P

Thanks for all your input .

Ironically I am experiencing this exact problem with my home in a specific area.

Put in a page hoping this wont be too hard to fix and thought I'd post here in reference to the issue.
