UO vet looking for a Guild

Post by Gautier Marauder »

I've been playing UO on and off, on Atlantic and Lake Austin for official servers, and a few private servers, although I've been away for a year or so. However, while playing a game from gog, Arcanum, I was reminded of UO by how similar the game is to the to my favorite MMO of all time, so I did some searching and saw that Excelsior is highly, highly recommended.

I have to agree with the recommendations, from what I've seen of the shard. I love the custom aspects, the adjusted balancing and all the cool differences from the official servers. It's a lot to take in, and I'm looking for a Guild to learn from, as well as contribute to.

Casual is nice, but I don't mind the occasional hardcore dungeon run or champ spawn. I'm also willing to shape my characters development in order to fill needs within a Guild. Mostly, I want to be part of a mature group of active people.

Please contact me here, or on the shard (Gautier Marauder), if you are looking for someone like me. I've got lots of questions, so it would be nice if the Guild I join doesn't mind answering them :)

Thanks!

Hello, I am Danilo Thann, Guild Leader of The Harpers Guild. We seem to be what your are looking for.

We have a mature atmosphere, and very large knowledge base of all there is to do on the UO Ex shard.

Questions? We have the answer; or we can find the answer together.

Right now we are building up to go into, hardcore dungeon, peerless boss areas, and do most champ spawns when they are up.
(Mostly it is helping teach and equip the younger players/recruits to be strong enough to enjoy such events.

But a simple list of three guild rules to follow, written down for those of us that are forgetful.

The guild is constantly growing, and to my surprise, so are the known Harper run Apartment s; known as Harper Strongholds. As this really is really of no concern to you, per say, I mention it only to say that the Guild is thriving, within itself and its members and few towns houses here and there throughout Brittannian Cities

These are a choice few things will find here within The Harpers Guild; though the best part of the Harpers Guild, for me, is all the friends and hunting pals you will most certainly make here. Never have I known a happier bunch ,of helpful kindhearted do good'ers, then the members I see online every day or so.

So join us, the adventure is near at hand... (gently calms a pleasant looking Village woman) How can I help thee, Milady?

(Heard in the background)

"We, the Harpers, are here for the fun, adventure, possibly some of your men and woman, and to help where we can." spoken by a Harper to distraught villagers who's village was besieged by the rampaging monsters of the wild lands of Brittania."
Criticism is good because it improves upon what came before, and solidifies the strongest of foundations.

The Harpers are definitely a good time and even let a retired pirate wildman like me join up :dance
