[Java] Levelable Weapon Tool
[Java] Levelable Weapon Tool
Introducing the enw and improved Weapon Planner.
OK this time im not adding anymore, i've hat it up to hear (*holds hand up very high*) with my IDE crashing on me every 20 mins so this is as good as its gonna get
Please note that the save before exit (and when creating new) on screen one is a bit iffy (somtimes it offers to save with no changes, had trouble with property changed listener, but works perfectly fine on page 2)
Save progress from either base property or spending screen. will save the default stats too. (so for example, you could enter in the information for beserka's maul and save it, when loaded will go straight to planning screen with the mauls stats in place).
When starting the program you are given the option to either go straight into spenfding points (Quick start) or enter in the base stats of the weapon first (Start).
Each property includes a tooltip of information on how that property works (please let me know if any innfo here is wrong as the descriptions were pulled from stratistics).
The only problem i know of at the moment is if your weapon has the -mage weapon property then you MUST click start opposed to quickstart, or you cannot spend points to remove this propery.
Once again if there are any bugs / suggestions, dont hesitate to let me know, either here, or in game (PM Stigmund).
I may Choose to add a save / load feature, so that you can plan your spending of points without having to enter in the stats every time...but we'll see about that.
Enjoy
Steve.
As Per Request, for those of you not fond of java (if your not font of Excel either, TOUGH hehe) here is the original tool created by yours truely.

I'm running on 1280 x 800 res, I've highlighted what I'm having problems with in red boxes.

Re: [Java] Levelable Weapon Tool
Hmmm thanks efan..thats anoying to say the least, im not sure how to go about fixing this, as it all fits perfectly fine on my computer. I've tested various resolutions and they all produce the same results (just either biger or smaller)...
If anyone out there happens to know anything, or had problems such as these that could shed light on the situation, would be much appriciated. Thanks.

Re: [Java] Levelable Weapon Tool Prototype
Also so everyone else can see, when you click 'quick start' without selecting a weapon type it brings up the 'please select a weapon type' menu but when clicked ok takes you to the planning pages.
Also even if you choose a weapon type and click 'quick start' it brings the message 'please select a weapon type' and takes you to the planning page.
But when selecting the normal 'start' button has no problems so far, stops you when not selected a weapon type and takes you there without no message when you do.
Great script though man can't wait for the future fixes

On the down side... i now can confirm that everything i crafted so far is worthless!
Ignorance sometimes is a blessing
