Contest: Shrine of the Undead

I would like to announce a new contest. "Shrine of the undead"

This is a decorating contest of who can build the best shrine devoted to the prince of darkness. You will have till November 21st to develop and create your ideas. You may use anything, but asking staff members for items is not allowed. Until that date there will be a Dark chest in the Town Center, where you will put a rune in a bag and a book with the name of your shrine and you name.
You may also create the shrine and compete as a group where the prize will be given to the whole group and will be split among team members.

Points will be awarded on:
1. Creativity
2. Darkness of the shrine
3. Presentation

The decision will be broken down as follows:
1/4 influence from staff members
1/4 influence from a player poll for player in the forum
1/2 influence from me

Prizes will be as follows:

1st place: 30 ED
2nd place: 20 ED
3rd place: 10 ED

5 ED for anyone else who participates (and shows effort)


So everyone, get your ideas pumping ... to everyone I wish good luck.

The Dark Shrine Contest will close for entry on Friday, November 21 2008 at 2PM Shard Time (5AM EST, 8AM PST) .
Make sure you follow the instruction and deposit your Rune into the black box in Town Center by Closing time.
Any Runes entered after closing time, will not be judged.
Please do not page staff to enter the contest after the closing date.

During the weekend, Staff will be judging the Shrines. From Monday November 24 through Sunday November 30, players will be able to vote on the shrines using a poll on the website. The winner will be announced Monday December 1.

i have a set of "unfinished gravestones" and a " Bone Throne" i will loan someone if they want to use them in their shrine. this is not for sale, but a loan... leave me a post here and when I get home from work later this evening.. if your on i will loan them to you

The Dark Shrine Contest entry has been closed, and the entries has been a excellent turnout. I would like to congragulate everyone on there hard work. Now for the moment we are waiting for.

The winners:

First place: June (winner of 30ED)
Second place: Izhitza (winner of 20ED)
Third place: Elf (winner of 10ED)

All other entries will receive 5ED for the effort and time.

well technically June built that shrine ontop of my bees, an might i add, i did supply the millions that shrine costed me... lmao... an im not bs'ing about that part either... soo doesnt that in a way make me the winner ? =O in another way it looks like all i did was pay my beautiful wife to make a shrine? another =O ... an maybe the reason why i didnt take credit was becuz i work irl? an she doesnt... another =O ... lol... so it all technicality, doesnt that make me 1st place? AND on a side note, what if i told her to include my name in the shrine, an she didnt? =O ... how was i suppose to know...

I think this thread was about the winners of the contest, not the people who contributed to it ;) We all contributed, by selling our stuff to them, or lending various things and giving our support. But the winners are the ones who entered the contest and succeeded. So.. poo poo on you, Undertaker, lol. Your wife and the others deserve their glory :P
