Welcome and THANKYOU for tuning in to this faaaabulous news thread about the Shard and all of the Excelsiorites that we love to hate and hate to love... For this evenings viewing pleasure I will be posting a photo about Newbs/Noobs/n00bz/ and all the annoying new players that join this beautiful and exotic place we call home... BUT these newbs are not the newbs we all love... oh no, they are newbs that attack!!! AND in groups.... There has been a recent uprise of gangs of newbs traveling the lands of Excelsior killing vets and taking all their insurance gold. They give no vet pity... I have spoken to one vet who was recently been attacked while riding to Umbris, he has decided to remain anonymous due to embarrassment because his gear could not withstand the newbs attacks. He claims that these newbs are ruthless and will stop at nothing.

I have gone undercover and pretended to be a fellow newb myself, asking random questions, their leader found me and brought me in and showed me where they train for future Vet attacks... take a look below.. and memorize the beasts that lie within the belly very well... If you see them hiding behind a tree pretending to chop wood so they can make "elven furniture" start running... because before you know it... you're insurance money will be gone!!!

Hmm. Indeed. I was a noob once. (My account is about 25 days old). And I must say, the newbs nowadays are rather ruthless, showing off their glowing green equipment, and now, even going so far as to require SIGNS everywhere to tell people where they can and can't stand! This is preposterous! Something must be done! I hereby propose we make newbies start out in Felucca, as well as disallow use of [c for the first two weeks, instead favoring the GM Help system! Make the GM's handle the flood of questions!
