That is a sea run brown trout, from the Taieri river, south island
while this is a resident fresh water brown trout, from a secret fishing spot..... both caught this season

haha u flatter me! the sea run was saved for eating, they are tasty as! but the big jack in the 2nd pic was too old and pretty to be eaten so he went back to hopefully get a bit of gigidy and make some babys for ma babys to catch, we call them majestic beasts taniwhas down in this here holla, u keep a creature like that and the fishing gods smite you good..... if your interested in some megatronic kiwi freshwater fish have a google of twizel canal fishing, we catch fish that will make any fisher drool up there!Im a part time guide so if anyones down in these neck of the woods hit me up!
