If I wanted to be a GM

If i wanted to become a GM, for I have been playing this game for so long that i would like to broaden my horizons with it. Where would i go, or who should i talk to?

Hopefully a member of staff will read this, but if not, use the help button at the top of the game window and leave a general help request regarding your interest in becoming staff.

On most shards its a wait to be asked game. Generally asking makes it sure you will never be staff. However, on this shard, about a year or so ago there was a post saying that if you wanted to be staff you had a short window where you would PM +Hina with answers to a list of questions. Obviously your game play and forum activity have a huge factor in this. Also if you are a, what did they call it, "High Profile Player" you would not be selected. Oh, you also needed to have a squeaky clean record here.

At this point, I don't think we can PM Admins, plus I'm sure that window has passed. I wouldn't page about it either, but its up to you.

Seems like the only sure way to become staff, is to create your own shard.

P.S. I would also bet, if you have donated massive amounts of money, or donate large amounts regularly, I doubt you would be made staff either lol but this is just a guess.

From past shards and uo time of me playing and running shard. I can suggest that asking isn't always the greatest way of going about it. Also many shards will have a player be a rep which helps players out with issues, answering pages, hosting events. Until they can be seen trustworthy/good. The best thing to do is show the staff that you have what it takes by being nice in game, actually being part of the shard like talking to people and being active with your voice.. Also answering questions for newbies.

Whenever a opening becomes available, +Colibri usually makes an announcement on the forums and Town Crier plus puts a book of instructions in Town Center. Just be prepared to hand in your "resume`" when the opportunity arises.

Also...Letting us know that you are interested is never a bad thing. However, letting us know that you are interested more than once a month...may be pushing it.
