Nyx likes to jail people for reporting bugs.

So, i made a comment in global chat mentioning that the newbie quest has a bugged skeleton knight. Afterwards, i sent a formal page to let them know since i hadn't received a response in the world chat. Then i received a rather bitchy response from Nyx stating that i should read paging rules and that i don't have to nag her in global chat.
I wasn't aware that a singular sentence in chat mentioning that there was a bug [which i doesn't effect me] and attempting to help the admin team locate any bugs related to the new content was considered "nagging." However, afterwards, she proceeded to throw me in jail all because i mentioned that she only seems to respond to comments in global chat when they're from guys telling her she's cute. Which i saw her instantly respond to several minutes before my mentioning of a bug.
Now i've been put into jail for making a sincere attempt to be helpful. Pretty ridiculous lol. I won't be donating despite my plan to do so.
Epic level of professionalism being displayed on this server.

Actually, you weren't jailed for 'making a sincere attempt to be helpful'. You were jailed for this:

Regarding me speaking in world chat, try being accurate next time. I'd been actively speaking in world chat to numerous players on various topics from 0:29 to 0:33. At the time of your page, I hadn't spoken in world chat since then.
You'd already made a bad impression by being snarky the other night, so you no longer had the benefit of the doubt with me.
You sent a page at 0:46:54 regarding the skeleton that was outside of a dungeon wall. Not a major issue. Then, less than a minute later:
23.3. 00:47 NAgol: Nyx... TP to me.. there's a bugged skelly knight
You sent a page, it hadn't been there for even
one minute, and you're trying to get my attention in wc over it. Yep, that's nagging. The staff are not here to hop at your every command. It's presumptuous to start telling the staff to do something in world chat, particularly when the page you've sent for it is brand-spankin' new. Then you follow up that fabulously irritating behavior by mouthing off in 2 further pages. I'd had enough of you, so, yep, you're in jail.
Once you were jailed, you threw a little tantrum:
[1:08] <World> NAgol: nyx
[1:08] <World> NAgol: want to stop being a pmsing child?
and another tantrum came later:

Can't say as I regret the decision. I sure hope the shard survives without your donations.

Look, don't worry.. i'm getting out of jail, giving my gear to a guildie.. quitting... and i've had plenty of moderators from bethesdasoft forums, blizzard forums, etc etc removed from their positions... as i cannot remove you from your position, i'll resort to using my knowledge of search engine optimization and the google algorithm to make harmful posts to your shard. It will literally take me 20 minutes a day and it WILL harm your shard ultimately.
You flipped out over someone using global chat one time in conjunction with a help report... That's all.. YOU misinterpreted the entire situation and you made a bad judgement call for whatever reason.
I'll mention everything that i've experienced in a fantastically delineated and eloquent manner describing the metaphorical malapropism, characteristic desultoriness of authority figures and the pay to win scheme which is uoex. I've quite an extensive background in regards to making things difficult for those who abuse their position and receive no recourse from their superiors. Either you are removed as an admin or i will take the time every day to make sure this shard's name appears in several lists of the worst UO free shards amongst other methods of informing any would-be newcomers to your shard that their time would be better spent on a shard which doesn't make a habit of appointing PMSing admin's which prefer to respond to users telling them they're cute rather than act professionally towards a member of their community who is making a sincere attempt at helping locate bugs with new content and forwarding the information to an admin.
I am 100% positive that if it wasn't you who answered the page and it was another admin, the manner in which the bug report was dealt with would have been handled entirely differently. You are unprofessional and undeserving of your position. I hope you have enjoyed this malicious usurpation of power. Your negligence and incompetence in regards to your responsibility as an admin to handle all presented situations with professionalism has only contributed in harming this shard's reputation. This is not a threat, it is a notification that i intend to inform the public of my experiences and I will do so diligently.
P.S
Ontop of it all, the other admin fails to handle the situation objectively as a result of his girlfriend being the abusive admin. An ideal server administration team you've got here Coli.

So you got jailed (only 20 tasks from me) for being rude, and you're threatening the entire shard.
Who flipped out, again?
Oh, right. That was you.

Look, even if your self-image was remotely close to your true accomplishments...AND if you were that destructive.
That's just...pathetically...sad.
You could've been the slightest bit respectful and been fine here. But you don't want that. So, goodbye.

Also, I can literally hear the cheering from the people at Thesaurus.com for your site hits and ad funds they received.

If you'd have been the slightest bit professional and instead of demanding respect, you earned it... well, you're right, we'd have got along great and as a result i'd be making promotional reviews on rpg.net, gamefaqs.com and gamespot.com
How do you believe you handled this situation? With professionalism or biased piousness? Enjoy the reviews, i'll be sure to provide a link to each of them
+V, i use dictionary.com every day to learn 2 words and within the day i make sure to use them atleast a dozen times. Sorry i continue my education and you don't. Thanks for the compliment though

Too bad your continuing education doesn't include social skills.

You got to do what you got to do. I have no control over you posting what lies you have in mind, just like I have no control over how you perceive the world around you. You have my sympathies.

6. Behavior, attitude towards other players:
a. If there is more than one player at a spawn, the players must take turns. Once a player kills/tames a monster or takes/steals an item, he or she must go in the back of the line and wait for others to get their turn.
b. Champion spawn participation and reward distribution is now enforced by the server automatically.
c. No drama. Accept the things you cannot change. If you are in an unresolvable conflict, be the smart one and walk away. Keep the private problems out of public chats, send a private message instead.
d. If you are in a situation with another player that won't go away by itself, don't go make it worse for yourself by doing something against the rules. Let the staff know, we have experience with this.
How do you punish someone for THIS if you are acting the same way as an administrator?
I put in bold... If you MISTOOK my page as being rude or nagging you, all you had to do was just not say something back and note the bug. BUT INSTEAD you handled this situation like a Jerry Springer episode.
And simply because you are admin and i'm not, you decided the easiest (not the right) thing to do was jail me for the SAME thing you were doing.

You were jailed. You sent some snotty pages even after you got jailed, and made a snotty, dramatic forum post in which you threaten the entire shard, and somehow you think you're the one behaving properly here?

Can we please stop giving these posts the time of day? I mean come on, at the end of the day at some point every one will feel slighted in some way. Lets just face the facts:
1. We are playing on a free shard, so if you have a problem with the service then well you get exactly what you pay for (no donations do not count). If you doubt me on this drive down a toll road anywhere.
2. +N and +V have put time and effort into replying to this thread rather than enhancing the quality of Excelsior through holding event, addressing problems, making new content, etc....
3. When I first started replies to these sort of threads only gave me pause as they lent them legitimacy. I obviously realized that like all groups of people there will be a few that like to complain, and they will always be the most vocal.
So I guess in closing if you feel like you must reply only state policy, be firm, and do not elaborate. I think this will attract a better sort of player in the end, one that has no interest in the drama that is portrayed each time one of these threads pops up.
As always opinions are like... well you know, so take it or leave it... ~Dander
