Question about noble steeds
I got a noble and ive noticed he hasnt gained a few of his stats hardly at all like resisting spells, magery, and meditation. Is there a reason why, ive been trying to kill just about anythibg under the sun witg no luck at all...Any answers would help.
After everything i've been threw, i'm still smiling...Not because i'm strong...But because i'm crazy!

Re: Question about noble steeds
For at least resist you need to be guilded, command them "all guard" then cast clumsy on them. For magery you have to use "all kill", this works with mules and probably everything else that uses magery. I had a noble sit in the training room for an hour trying to get above 53.? magery before I gave up, Might be something else I'm missing tho, someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Re: Question about noble steeds
Nobles do not cast spells so they will not gain magery

Re: Question about noble steeds
Are you sure nobles don't use magery? All of mine show some level, anywhere from 50's to 80's atm..If they -don't- cast spells why do they have the skills?
Re: Question about noble steeds
They do have a fireball type spell that they use Comes out in a blue fireball if ya watch closely you will see them do it from a distance

No idea why they have magery when they do not use the skill at all (my guess is they were just copied from something like nightmares).
The firebreath attack is not based on magery, only the current hp of the noble (gives you extra reason to get 1.1k hp nobles and keep them healed up!)

Re: Question about noble steeds
I believe magery skill can mitigate damage from certain attacks, so it's useful defensively.Adrias wrote:No idea why they have magery when they do not use the skill at all
