Tailor Repair Deeds

I'm trying to repair a leather chest piece using a legendary repair deed. Double click the deep and select the item, then a popup menu appears showing the item and a 100% success rate. I click the button and it gives a message "successful crafting" but does not repair the chest piece. What am I doing wrong?

Firstly, you need a sewing kit to use. Double click any sewing kit, and keep it in your inventory and it will automatically be used when using the deed.

Second, have the leather required for the repair. It's usually 1-10 leather, but if you have a lot of durability to repair, you'll need more leather. For ethereal leather armor, you'll need ethereal leather, daemonic leather armor, daemonic leather, and so on. For special leather armor, such as Gem of Completion armor, Gloves of the Pugilist, etc, you only need normal leather.

Third, you need to be dismounted. You would not attempt to repair or craft armor while on a horse in real life, so why would you be able to in-game?

This should solve any issues you are having.

Oh, and if the durability does not show it was fixed, but you got a message in chat saying that you have repaired it successfully, then you may need to close your paperdoll and backpack and reopen them for it to be shown as full durability again. If this still does not work, log out and back in. Works for me every time!

if after repairing something, the item still looks damaged, either pick up item and drop in pack OR equip item and it will show it has been repaired.
