0MG would like to invite you to a Harrower this Friday (or Saturday depending on your time Zone). Please try to follow the following requests.
Request:
1. Have fun
2. Expect to die if this is your first harrower
3. Please consider others attending the harrower event. It will get hectic, but lets all try to be courtesy of one another.
What should I bring? More importantly please DON'T bring the following;
1. No pets please (there will be enough ppl there, so we wont need your imps or whatnots)
2. No mounts please (this is only to help me out. I will be on a mount to help res ppl and be easily visible, more details to come)
3. No Angel Form please (ideally the less damage you do the better for everyone. Its not about how much damage you do)
Please DONT do the following;
1. Please do not cast Enemy of One spell. We do not need anyone casting that spell. There will be enough ppl to take down the harrower just fine. BUT most importantly; if you cast Enemy of One spell, you will prevent others from get a stat scroll (pretty selfish if you do cast that spell). Ie no weapon buff would be great
A. If you can, please be in Animal Form. That would be ideal for everyone
. 2. Please turn off Scavengar or any looting script. There will be plenty of gold for everyone after the fight. No need to be greedy and pick up all the gold to some script. Just pick up the gold manually like everyone else.
What to expect;
1. The Harrower fight is in three stages; Harrower, Tenacles of the Harrower, and True Harrower.
A. the first part is very easy, especially since there will be over 20 ppl present.
B. Tenacles of the Harrower part. If this is your first time, as soon as you see Tenacles pop, Please just TAB OUT. Tenacles will reflect 100% of your damage back to you and may kill most ppl. During that time, the Harrower will NO longer take any damage and will also reflect 100% of the damage back to you. Best to just tab out and wait it out. No shame in waiting
. C. True Harrower only begins once ALL the tenacles are dead. So its very important that we all focus on the nearest Tenacles of the Harrower to ensure the True Harrower can begin. During this fight its very important that you do a steady and low amount of damage. Since we want everyone to get a chance of a stat scroll. By doing a low damage output, more ppl will be qualifed for a stat scroll in their backpack. Again DO NOT use Enemy of One spell or any buff for that matter
2. If you die, Please stand still. Someone will come res you. I'll be mounted and be able to run over to you asap.
A. If you died during the first two stages of the harrower, take your time regearing and wait until all the tenacles are dead before jumping back in.
B. If you died at the last stage of the first, try your best to regear and continue attacking the True Harrower. HOPEFULLY; everyone did as we suggested and are doing low damage. If so, you have plenty of time to get back into it. If not, just take note of the person that just casted Enemy of One and is spamming specials. (I know I will be)
3. Since there will be a lot of ppl attending, please dont cry if you miss out on a stat scrolls. Im sorry and will try to help you for your time and lost. Please just come for the fun and experience
What if someone doesnt follow our request?
1. I can only make Empty Threats of these...
A. I and so will everyone else attending see who just didnt follow our suggestion and take note of that person name.
B. I will be having my Journal open and keeping an eye on anyone casting Enemy of One spells or what not. Just hope I dont screen print it and post on the forum.
C. If ppl havn't put their pets away or is still mounted, well we can wait it out and not start the harrower. And than that person will stand out and everyone will see who is delaying things.
D. Its a small Shard <.>
E. I personally have no problem saying "No" to ppl to anything (example, "No" at any future Champs). And you wont hurt my feelings if you are upset at me.
Ok, enough of that, Now the Where and When
1. When; Shard time will be 12-31-2011 Saturday Morning at 2am. US eastern time will be 8pm Friday night 12-30-2011 and US Pacific will be 5pm on Friday
2. Where; please meet up at the Entrance of Destard in Felucca. Ideally 15minutes before hand and someone will escort you to the spawning ground.
