The New Player Quest

ok, hello everyone! there is an excellent quest in place, known simply as the rat quest, in which it is made available for one to make plenty of starter gold, via the sale of bio engineering [pet] material known as organics.

what the player, under 21 days account age, may do up to twice an hour, every thirty minutes after last done, is go to the custom gate, training room, then thru the orange gate, and down. you will find joe the apprentice, and you must not be on another quest or in war mode, and he will offer you the rat quest, go down the way, to the "rathouse" and kill 20 or so rats. then after quest complete return to joe for a bag with some gold and organics.
take said organics to trinsic, trammel, and drop them into the blue [exex (excelsior exchange) box located there. then you will need to type [exex, at which point you will see the exchange try creating a buy order, or direct sell, the organics. then you go to balance, bottom tab, and can withdraw your gold [to your bank box, in a white exex bag]! do every half hour for maximum gain!

Add that you can do it with each of your 5 characters - the 30 minute delay is counted separately for each. Basically you can do it with char #1, then #2, ..., by the time you're done with #5 the timer on #1 has finished and you can start over again. If you're persistent enough, the rat quest will pay for your pets, you PSs and/or your gear.

1 character rat quest takes what 5-10 mins? for ~200 organics x 5 characters = 1k organics in 50 mins for those 5 characters plus log out and in time 2 mins x 5 = 1k organics in 60 mins.

multiply that by let's say 2 hours grinding a day.

2k x 21 days = 42 k organics @ 148 gp ea (price taken from the exex on 4-11-12 @ 5:35 am central usa time)

total price earned = 6.216 million in 21 days *allow for fluctuations in price of organics. i would say ~6 mil in 21 days*

It was random 80, 100 or 120 when I did the quest, a year ago. Unless it was changed to 200, but doubtful. Still - it's a good few million.

most recently for me it was 80-120, but i believe i have heard tell of only 60, and i also heard 80 was super common now. either way, organics are good, mmmkayy :] so ya'll young players, tally forth! gather and sell, and yes, you can use it to gear multiple characters!
have a blast, get some pets, powerscrolls, items of all kinds! search the vendors thoroughly, and if somethin rare pops up, grab it before you dont see for a while (or you can always advertise for one in world chat [c ) and on that note, go for vendors of your own to sell your goods! town center and the tokono, makoto zento shoppin areas are able to be purchased by clicking the empty stools, and there are plenty of private vendors for rent, many even free! ask around!

oh hehehe i never did the quest but i thought it was somewhere between 180-200 but i could be wrong. but still 100 organics is 3 mil.

also to point out, you said doing it for 2 hours , which reluctantly is long enough, but if your a all day gamer (im not btw) and get up to 8 hours, your taling 10's millions in 21 days. But the price for orgs has dropped on EXEX last time i sold 1k of em, was at about 111gp each. (needed cash... otherwise would of waited)
