Confused by Devlin, DEX and Gear

Just a little confused…Nothing unusual!!

Devlin posted his guide to being Awesome back in 2011, but it seems to be still current.

At the start Devlin lists a bunch of gear to increase dex, so far so good. But then he goes on to say that obtaining GoC gear should be a priority. Now that’s fine as far as it goes but… GoC gear doesn’t have any dex on it.

So I buy all this ++dex gear, get my dex up to 220, have instant bandages & high swing speed and then start collecting GoC gear and a lot of the dex goes away.

The bit that’s missing is what replaces the dex bonuses when I start collecting GoC??

I’m sure it’s a nice simple answer that I’ve missed!!

there are relayers that replace the dex, also there are items that have more dex than others. you can be doing well with the dex gear but your character isnt done when you have dexxed up. keep evolving your character.

Life experience suggests that when people start making these sorts of kiddie noises, then they have been caught doing something they should'nt have been doing! I wonder what this guy has been up to?

how exactly are the gm's acting like asses your previous post cites the examples of making candy and v being angry.. and with posts like this I would be too.. how dare you A) think you have the right to talk to people the way you have B) think you are our spokesperson, its not that we are scared.. its just we don't have the issue with staff YOU DO... and if you don't care so much why are you hiding behind a proxy, using an assumed name etc.. if you really didn't care you'd reveal yourself..

i've been there before. maybe even a bit further. it could happen to the best of us if we have the worst of times. sometimes people learn, but usually they don't.

Another possible way is to buy a +25 stat scroll to increase your dex by 25 (and purchasing the individual stat increase scrolls from the ED stone in Trinsic of course). This should give you an additional wiggle room to add GOC without having to sacrifice too much dex and remaining above or at 220. Go with GOC chest and boots first. Make sure you have at least 8str/8dex ring and bracelet.

If you need stat scrolls please pm in game (Alejandro) and I have plenty of stat scrolls for sale.

1. Get 220 dex,
2. Get relayer with +8 dex for slot that doesn't have dex already
3. Replace old +dex item with GOC (or other item) to remain at 220 dex but with better overall stats.

repeat 1-3 until no more items can be replaced

4. replace all items with relayers to max all attributes
5. replace all relayers with relayers made from titans hammer
6. stand at bank

Thanks Nunja that simplified. It for this tired old brain. Think. I'd missed that relayers could have dex and go in any slot.

My son simplified it further...

2. Go play WoW
