Some simple questions about houses and flowers

I have some questions that i did not find the answer for in the wiki and in the forum.

1) If i make my house customizable will it stay the same or will it change to a plot or something? Will i lose the secures and lockeds inside it?

2) I'v seen in the wiki that the tribarrel cacti produces green thorns. Right now i have three types of it and none of them has produced resources, only seeds. Is there a certain type of tribarrel that produces it?

3) When i check the amount of seeds inside my flowers the seed number is colored differently on my three tribarrels, does that mean anything or no?

It reverts to an empty lot and everything inside is moved to a moving crate.

2 - they can produce green thorns, but only the "bright green" color will do so

3 - That is the color the seeds will be. Cross-pollinating plants will produce different colored seeds. Cross-pollinating a plant with the same color and type will produce the 'bright' color of that same type. You can find lots of helpful information regarding plant breeding, including handy little charts, on stratics.
