I don't know if you plan on any "getting started" material here. There are a few routes to getting up to speed but the one that worked great for me was spawns. If you have done the rat quest enough to get a decent set of armor with 60+ in most resists and some Sta Inc all you need is a hit area weapon with WW (I used a hally with 50 cold area I found on a vendor for 5k until I got a blaze of death).

If you consider yourself a Pro Dexxer then with these two things and a bit of necro you will have no problem soloing any of the spawns except for perhaps Kronus or Fire. (you'll still need pets to tank MoA if you don't have quick bandies and some HP yet). Even if you are only an average dexxer, it's hard to find a spawn to solo it seems so you will be able to work spawn just fine.

I used this method and went from 0 to were I am now in 18 days now. Over 30 mill earned and spent on stuff, the only EDs I purchased through donation were used to relayer my Omni Book (which i only got 3 days ago btw).

Granted I know how to spawn properly without the need for trees (from OSI experience) and consider myself to be a dexxer of above average skill but as you will most likely have 2 or more people showing up before you can lock it any one who understands the mechanics of weapons and necro shouldn't have any issues.

No problem =) It works as on OSI, free attack on next successful parry that does not reset your normal swing timer. I spam it 24/7 (its on my mousewheel). Great for extra damage on single targets and if you are in thick spawn it's great to make sure your WWs are going off constantly to keep your health up (you know how the mob you are flagged on likes to run away at low health).

You forgot to put what it will take. hehe

Bandaids, Ointments, Arrows, Fertile Dirt, gold on Corpse, plus the small gold bonus you get for "cleaning the shard." The claim bonus gold can range anywhere from 25 gold to 200+ depending on the difficulty level of the baddie you killed. So many people complain about not having enough gold, yet they leave bodies around everywhere.

I feel it's good to have two Hotkeys. One for [claim and another for [claimall.

After you hunt around a bit and manually click on the corpses to see what kind of loot they hold, you will begin to learn which ones you will want to do just [claim or [claimall. For instance, some monsters only drop some gems and gold. Those are great for [claimall, then you can just use Razor to Organize all the gems into your handy Gem Box.

Too bad there is no pop-up custom menu for [claim where you can choose which items you wish to claim off corpse, and clean it up off the ground at the same time. Well, one can wish.

Also Sacrifice your fame on a Lich and get your Self Res thing going. This will help you a LOT. Fame is easy to come by, especially if you hunt a lot. You know those times where you went somewhere, thinking you could handle the difficulty, only to find yourself dead and end up begging for a res on global chat. Just imagine what you could do with a self res!

So yeah, I've basically finished everything I've intended to.
I'll prolly proof it once more/throw in some finishing touches, but unless someone brings up a great new idea, I think I've done all I wanted. I still haven't countered the Necro argument/included any information on it. Don't know if I intend to, I don't use Necro, let alone even have it past 33. A proper wep can do anything Necro can, while allowing you to be lazy as possible. Which I like.

Lazy - casting consecrate weapon every 10 seconds, weapon abilities every 1.25 seconds
Not Lazy - casting vampiric form for 20% life leech once per life (or server restart)

You have to cast consc wep/abilities regardless of whether or not you are using Necro, Adrias.
And this is my guide. I put the work into it to help others. This is MY method of being uber, as I state multiple times in the guide, and have said to you. If you want to promote Necro, make your own guide. Dont bash mine.

So, since this is kind of a guide for newer players (like myself, having really only been here a few months), I have some suggestions for additions in the form of questions I've had. I've done a lot of reading these forums without saying anything to learn as much as I can about the ins and outs of the shard, and here are a few things that I didn't find too-clear notes on:

For imprisoned pets, I'm under the impression that you can use oints on all major stats except for strength, because the ones near 380 strength are the ones that go for 1.5m+. Is this true? What stats should we be using oints on if not strength? Seems like HP and dexterity are the main ones in demand, but I could be wrong.

If an imprisoned pet dies, what's the best method for resurrecting it? What skills are required to successfully and quickly resurrect them when fighting mobs that have 1-shot kill abilities? Is it veterinary? How high does it need to be? Do you use bandages?

How exactly do you convert fame so that you can self-rezz? What's the command for it, and how in the UI do you activate the rezz feature? I don't know step one for this.
