well thing is for instance destard there is the same 3-4 dragons spawn when there was only an avg of 30-50 peepsonline at a time , now we avg 150-200 sometimes upwards of 300 could we get more mobs in the dungeons and speeds up some of the spawners i mean like peerless if u got 4 peeps waiting in line that means 1 mobs every hour -4 hours most get discourgaed and just leave now there just instant enough here to kill for as many peeps that is on shard now :)

True that, and it'd help a lot with the weapon leveling process to have faster spawns according to how many people are on at the moment.

I agree completely.. and in some cases traditional uo spawns aren't done at all the same.. around wind on most shards I have played is a riot of undead, it meant something if you made it into the town alive..

In t2a the city of the dead and orcfort is the city of the dead and a savage camp...

but generally more spawns is better than less, and with the large player base it would be better to have more spawns, new places to explore because of said spawns, and places to revisit because they are spawned faster/better etc

Tough going against the wind, but I say leave spawn times as is at least for non-peerless mobs.

Yes, some spawns are quite crowded but making them spawn faster will just reward those that camp the spots more. Leaving spawn times as is will encourage players to find alternative ways of making gold or fight other mobs to level weapons. I think the difficulty of leveling weapons is just part of the process and for those that choose not to wait can buy the EDs for the weapon leveling deed.

Never did the GoC quest so can't really give strong input on the matter, but I feel everyone that wants to do the quest should have access to the mobs. However if spawn times are increased for this then the extraneous rewards from the mobs (gold, experience, tokens) should decrease, while the chance of dropping the GoC item should increase or remain the same.

I basically feel like the drop rates for most items is about where it should be, based on my recent experience finishing most of the GoC quest. Nothing seemed terribly insane, though people who have done this multiple times will surely have a better concept of general drop rates.

I do think the spawn timers for several creatures could be decreased somewhat (Netopir is a good example) to accomodate a higher number of people looking to get a shot at their relatively unique items.

I sure hope the spawn or re spawn will get faster, not for the peerless but for the general ones, i am in the process of leveling 4 weapons and finding a place to level is becoming ridiculous! I mean everyones after the same spots so if you get in at a peak hour, you will never be able to level a weapon in a descent period of time. But i agree that some people will probably camp but thats what farming is, wether its for tokens, gold or artys. So to make it interesting maybe work on some of the less populated mobs and leave Doom has is!

Id say leave the spawns alone for all of that high dollar high traffic stuff.. its popular because it works..

but there are huge areas in between towns, just off the road, in empty buildings etc.. they technically should have NEW spawns, the problem isn't with whats there.. its just the huge areas of nothing, now I can hear it already... hear it???

its a quiet sound saying "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" I know the complaint already, then there will be no safe places to mine/gather wood/stone etc etc etc

and my response to that is.. AND???

element of danger = thats uo
perfect safety at all times = thats eldar scrolls with cheat codes.

well i dont really mean all the spawns mostly the dugeons ie 1 dragonn in 2 hours in destard , with 7 peeps in tehre wow,that is is like a ghost town for spawn,is just nuts nuts i mean OSI defualt and most sahrd use the osi defualt for spawners then add their custom to the prexiting spawners i

it would be nice if there was some variability... maybe some areas having an increased spawn rate based on how quickly the spawn is killed/tamed/removed.

Or a second ilshenar/tokuno the way the fel was meant to be: no recalling in or out. Maybe remove the ankhs while at it, to promote team play :P

Promoting team play and folks playing together is key in most games. have never understood why people would want to play a mmorpg and then play by themselves all the time and make scripts and run a easy button just so they can continue to play by themselves and do things on their own.

Just my thoughts, playing with others and doing things in a co-op type fashion are when I find things to be fun!

it's mainly the loot reason why i hunt alone. if i'm putting together a goc. i know i can solo it, and so why would i make a party and then fight over who gets the acid proof rope? o.O yeah i know we can do it again and again, but let's say a party of 5. it would mean we would have to kill proxy 5 times, or worse yet wait for the black widow to spawn 5 times or neptir? o.O it's just a lot easier to go by myself get the item i need and put together the lesser gem (remember 3 day wait so you might want to get one as soon as possible). another reason why i sometimes hunt alone.... get a party and go to umbris once. all you will do is res people which opens you up to also be dead. lady mel.... rare imprisoned drop. shimmering also rare imp drop. maybe we should party up and try to get a jade amulet? o.O luckily enough a grand auction just occurred so no need for mass amount of gold as of yet. have you ever tried to split an oint between 5 peeps (just trying to be funny i know you could offer the gold.) if let's say when your party kills a monster and if there is an ointment maybe have each member of the party get 1 ointment into their pack or 1 acid proof rope. maybe then i'd get involved with a party. some of you may think blah blah greedy blah blah. hey almost everyone is like this.
