Green Thorns
Green Thorns
Hi Everybody,
Does anyone know if Excelsior shard supports the planting of green thorns to produce reagents?
Thanks.

On the Fly:
The best instance of this would be to plant the thorns in a farmers field and killing the Vorpal Bunny that spawns. If i remember correctly it has a variety of reagents on its corpse as loot. As for growing things with thorns I am unaware of this possibility.

Criticism is good because it improves upon what came before, and solidifies the strongest of foundations.
Re: Green Thorns
If you plant thorn on a small dirt patch like those outside cove, reagents and fertile dirt will pop out of the ground. If you plant a thorn in snow a giant ice worm will appear. If you plant a thorn in swamp a whipping vine will appear (has vine deco). If you plant like Danillo said, u get Vorpal Bunny. If you plant in sand, a hole to the hidden part of Solen hive will appear (naturalist quest to get fire seed).

see player guild put in a video (bad video).

Re: Green Thorns
I'm not sure where I read it, maybe Stratics, that you can get green thorns from "bright green barrel cacti". If that is true, are there any out in the wild to get green thorns from? I also seem to recall you can also get them off some type of boggling (but I'm sure I'm probably not high enough to kill anything like that).
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Green Thorns
Actually boglings are quite easy to kill. However it takes a bright green cacti as you said to get thorns. Those do not drop can only be gotten by cross breeding plants to get them. Or can be bought from gardners sometimes.
Re: Green Thorns
Thanks Dragor for the info. Would you be able to point me in the direction of where I can find these bogglings? Maybe I'll take my try at them

Re: Green Thorns
Boglings are located on the world teleporter in Ilshenar: Savage Camp.
Head SSW from the teleporter and you'll run right into them.
