Ok, I have been away for about 2 months (logging in once or twice through that time). Through those 2 months I have been waiting for +Coli to answer my help request (+Nyx put it in his cue). I assume he is very busy (he does have a life outside the game) or he would have gotten to that by now. I can understand the frustration though, I am not so happy myself, but lets be a little patient, I'm sure it will be fixed ASAP.

@xavian Why are u so sure its ISP issue? I m in the same country as server and also have lag issues due i have other ISP, so foreing traffic shouldnt be the issue. Also ISP that server runs on currently has no announcments of any difficulties.

I'm not saying that is the issue, I'm saying that is what we have been told in the past is the issue. There has been no other information provided to us on why the issues are present.

Can we please get an official update of when the shard is going to be back up? Or a timeframe pretty please?

Its not the ISP. It is either the server taking a dump, or bad code. I have been here a little over a month. The first week or two was great, then lag spikes out of nowhere that have been increasingly worse. It would be nice to hear from +Colibri on issues, and that is one big problem with this server. He has almost zero interaction on the forums or on the server. I understand +Colibri can't spend every waking moment dedicated to the server, but lots of people here donate to this server because they love it and want to see it running. I know several people who have been waiting to talk to him for months without so much as a I got your request and just need a little time. The server is also understaffed. By no means am I trying to start a complaint thread. I am just simply stating here that you have A LOT of people here who love the server. Maybe it and all the people who play here should be bumped up on the priority list just a little?

im sure all this talking about issues with the server will cause a issue with someone some where but oh well.
cope is right. the server is under staffed. i wouldnt even begin to know where to start to fix this issue correctly (or atleast as best as possible)

to the GM's:
this is not a complaint or anything i love this shard and since i started this shard it has been the only one i have played.

If it were bad code or a problem like that, chars with 500 hp and instaheal, would not be dying when the lag spikes occur if it were in the server itself. because the game and client would be bunking out as well, And I know at least 4 peeps as of right now with 400 + hp that have come back from the spikes dead. If it were the server itself messing up from say bad code, the server itself would be locking up. This is not the case here.

Even if this is the case this has been going on for weeks. Why isnt the problem fixed or ISP's switched? Whether or not it is the server, ISP, code, or whatever it has been going on for a long enough time it should have been resolved in one way or another or we should at least be in the loop.

Doubtful considering how long the game has been down. Usually when a GM/Admin does know they would at least make one post letting the community know that +Colibri has been notified or being worked on getting the shard up and running again.
