I'm a druid too, if you are alone, sure the alter is fine. Otherwise there is very little difference if you are a few steps over. Other people like to see how far the champ is along. It's more than a courtesy, it's an unwritten rule. Moreover, once there are two druids, one on each side of the alter become the most efficient positions.Asmodean wrote:

I agree about restorative soil, its the best way to rez, you can even rez yourself with it. Problem is because it is a custom here, not everyone knows about it. And it can be hard to see, depending where you are.
