Grand Auction and IDOC event - July 24, 2021

Hey all, we're hosting a grand auction this weekend. After that, there will be the long awaited IDOC event. Saturday will also be the start of a week-long donation bonus.

Grand auction - main event: Saturday, July 24th at 22:00 shard time (6pm US-eastern).
IDOC house drop: Sunday, July 25th at 00:00 shard time (saturday 8pm US-eastern).
Grand auction - deco/addon duplicates: Sunday, July 25th at 19:00 shard time (3pm US-eastern).

The auction items aren't displayed yet. I will try to display most of the items tomorrow or thursday, but there might be some late entries - there's lots of ideas for new powerups and modifications, so I might add one or two items later on.

In Danger Of Collapse. Basically there are houses that belong to accounts that haven't logged on in several months and their houses are going to "fall." When they do, all the stuff that's in them will become up for grabs.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the point of grand auctions to take money out of the server? If so, then why don't items in a house just go *poof* along with the house? Just curious ramblings is all. (I know people like the IDOC event and grabbing stuff, but seems only a few people actually get stuff)

lots of items go poof on idoc event such as anything bought from the ED room so im pretty sure auction items go as well

Any currencies in the house is deleted before the house drops. So no money is being created or added into the game. Sure players can sell items they get, but still the same amount of money going around. No money is actually added to the economy.

i looted a grand auction admin item in last idoc so probably just the ed room suff.

Thanks all for explaining the IDOC Does this mean I should prepare and have a runebook ready with houses that I think are IDOC and once the event starts to go check them?

the signs will say idoc if they are put runes in book (s) in order that u want to go to them.....there may be a few that get refreshed tween fri n sun but for the most part any that are idoc will go poof

mark your runes outside of the house because once house drops any runes marked inside the house will not work.
