I have been watching this for sometime now, and I am curious to learn why daemonic leather is always more expensive than all other leathers.

Have you tried collecting Daemonic leather compared to the others? Daemons drop one hide per kill. Two in Fel IIRC.

There’s a mistvale quest that takes demon leather so maybe new players doing the quest chain drive up the demand.

Too slow for me. I resort to using a Florin Tailor Daemonic Belt most of the time.

if you want some good news, than they used to cost about 200gp+ year or two ago, yeah that's cause of quest, i think.
You can also cut everything that gives Barbed leather (usually dragons, cause they give 40 in fel and respawn fast) with gargoyle knife and it will give random outcome and possibility of elemental, every time you get demonic elemental, you cut it with normal knife, to not randomize again. Anyway it may cost some runs on ankh and insurance. If you cannot hold hit from higher elementals yet.

If you're trying to do the quest in MistVale for the bless deed, it's not worth it. I did the math on the insane amount of resources required and it's more expensive than just buying tokens and buying the bless deed from the vendor stone. I made a ticket about it a year ago - my assumption is that it was based on historical prices that don't make sense anymore.

It's worth doing the quest that rewards daemonic leather there though as you can sell it on exex and normal leather is pretty cheap. Just be prepared to wait several months for someone to buy stuff. Resources move extremely slowly.
