Does the juggernaut bear bug go away with breeding?

I have tamed a few juggernaut bears recently because I found that at around 110 you rack up skill points very fast due to constantly failing.

Anyway, I kept two pairs for breeding.

One big issue that I've found is that if you use the command "all kill" some of the bears will run as fast as they can in the opposite direction. I don't mean meander off like most tamed pets.. they run probably faster than an untamed bear.

I've always been in a closed in area (like the demon temple) to train them. So, I am not entirely sure how far they will run.

It actually cracked me up the first time because I've never seen a pet so emphatically do the opposite of a command in UO.

They will however fight if told to "guard".

Anyway, will this carry over to the baby juggernaut bears if I breed them?

I've really only noticed it on two bears, but I can't say for sure if I didn't have the other ones on guard when I trained them and never used "all kill".

As far i recall those isn't breedable, as many other custom mobs. you made me curious, must check them some day.

I am pretty sure they are. I ran into a released "baby holy cat" in tram and I ended up accidentally killing it while it was healing itself when it's hp's were low enough that I could tame it. (I have a really hard time not killing holy cats in general while taming)

I bet that bear is a beast.. the gen 1 bears are DPS machines as it is.

Now I just need someone to hold a bear while I set up breeding because I only have 5 slots

This randomly happens to any tamable that has to be subdued before they can be tamed. They're running from you when you tame them, and they stay that way even once tamed and healed. The solution is to keep them out and let them run away for a while in a contained space where you can't lose them. They'll eventually reset to normal.

Juggernaut Bears can indeed be bred and the children are not afflicted.
