Hey you might even check something as simple as the surge protector or the battery back up ...they could be going out too and causing those hiccups that mess with computers, or even a power supply.

+C has the server hosted at a professional datacenter, if they're using a battery backup or surge protector, we've got much bigger problems lol

LMAO. The issue is not with a surge protector for sure. Seems like it may possibly be a hardware issue on the server side of it. I am guessing he has remote access, but that does not help with a hardware issue.

Sorry...but did not know how upscale this deal is..where are the specs posted. When I reference the backups.. I am referring to the industrial backups I have seen places use...literally. You can laugh..but I am not talking about radio shack style equipment. I am also not in my expertise either...So.. I am not trying to be condescending as you might think I am implying. No disrespect at any point was intended. My knowledge is basic and I only took minor classes in college when taking computer classes, but even they had raids and the backup systems I am referring to. Please take my comments with a grain of salt.. and no disrespect at all. I know you guys are experts. Reminds me of the sign " $20 If I do my job, $50 if you watch, and $100 if you help, are my fees" sorry I came off sounding at the wrong end. lol.

Depending on how much reserve they want to carry, they might have batteries.

For example the Telco I used to work for had a minimum of 2 hours of battery backup, and that was the capital city minimum. Just in case of problems with the back up generators. Whereas a telco in Tokyo I heard of thought 15 mins was ample.

naw they have a large UPS machine. depending on the size of the machine and the amount of resources they have, i say 200-2000 serves can run for 2 hours on those machines.

MUSE is one of the best cures for even the worst case of Server Downtime Syndrome.

This is how dark trinsic bank can get when everybody has fled the server, in fear of losing their progress if something happens. Only the brave (and a little mentally challenged like me) stand their (bank) ground xD

All I can say is UOEX is more prfessional than OSI.

I logged in this morning after the crash figuring I had to pay for my Nobles and my body to be recovered. NOPE not at all. The +GMs had my and my nobles all packed up, still in Blood. However very safe and secured.

Thank you for your professionalism and player focused operations.

My best ideas on how to fix this:

1. Reverse polarity. It's amazing how much stuff that fixes, so try it first.
2. Channel gravitons through the main deflector dish. When I invented gravity, I didn't realize how useful it could be.
3. Hit the degauss button. If nothing else, it is fun to watch.

When those don't work, I just cry until +Colibri fixes the server.

Some corrections to Ike Newton's post
1: Reverse polarity is for sissies.. Bi-polar is the way to be.
2: Ike did not "invent" gravity, that was me, Ike is way to young for that. Props to him for inventing falling apples tho.
3: Not really a correction, the degauss button is fun, but you should try the regauss button for real fun.
Carry on.

Or you could fire the Wave Motion Gun. I don't think that ever failed to fix a problem.
