i know you can get a message in game if something on your vendor sells
but is there any sort of log of the items that sell on your vendors?

and if not would it be that difficult to get a button added to vendor options that shows last items sold

Only one thing to admit, you will see item as sold also if you will take it out by yourself .
But guessing owner must remember such fact.
