Of course you were on mule while logging out ? Cause when you log out and leave any pet as it is, it will disapear after some time unless you were mounted (then he logs out as well). If you left them that means they just freed themselfs or there is slight possibility that some of staff found it ...

Well instead of adding new server you can just remove Excelsior from list (to remove actual patches) and then add it again. Open settings tab then choose yes for "Ignore download errors".
If you dont want to use our patch just click cancel before it finishes downloading.
Its easier that way :D
