ok, sort of figured it out...I think.

I did Magery all the way to 100 without even 0.1 in Resist (bought to 32.4 Fireball, Lightning, EB etc).

maybe because i chose Necro at start only goes up with Necro Spells, cause after only 1 Spell resist went up.

and what are the effects of Negative karma ...

Oh sorry, thats what Im saying I was supposed to be doing them at the same time. Using this guide (fireball first etc) Magery went up but resist hasn't moved, even after eating.

Magery is now 63.7 using this guide & Resist is still 32.9 tried eating something, till full & till stuffed.
Does it only work vs some spells or something?

if training Magery on yourself does Resist go up?

Cause I bought Magery to 32.4 & Resist to 32.9
but Resist hasn't gone up even 0.1

How do you get grade a Boards?

What skill do you need to get them (My LJ is 100).

Where can you get the various books from, Bushido, Druid Spellbook & others i cant think of. I know where to get spellbooks, chiv book and ninja book from but not others.

Am new and dont really know the layout (actually I've only played UO total of about 1 week in my life).
