Re: Anarchy's Awesome Fishing Event (3rd year)

Would love to enter this, not sure if I'n going to have a PC then though. Currently borrowing an old Laptop from a friend while I wait a €175 refund from a dodgy CPU I bought last year. Assuming I can get my refund by early next week, and they have the right replacement in stock then I should be ...

Re: Economic improvements?

I would really be interesed in seeing at what point people stop playing on the shard...Everyone assumes it's the newer players that leaves...I think that it's more the middle level players that do... The shard does a great job for the under 21 days crowd but what caters to the mid level? The GOC ...

Re: Economic improvements?

We def have new accounts indeed.

We have new players. I see several log on nearly every day, unless its just vets making alts, which I have no way of knowing.
If I recall correctly ( and apologies if I'm wrong here), the whle 'Welcome Player X to the shard' message only appears once per account ...

Re: Colibri please do something to fix the economy

In all honesty I think the Economy is fine as it is. The main thing to remember with a persistent world like ours is that it's rather static.
Unlike other MMOs where there is a clear progression from A to B to C - see Questing to Leveling to Instanced Dungeons/Raids etc - UO has always been a do ...

Re: Resource gathering

Check further back in this forum.
I would highly suggest using the LJ and Mining Radar scripts. Not only does it do 99% of the work but also maps, and stores what vein/tree gives what ore/wood!

Must be having a brain fart week.

AFAIK the UOXL options never work in Linux. At least I never found an solution.

Re: Requesting a Script

There is a good 4x4 fishing macro for razor.
Trythis beauty.

Just jam it all into a text file and save it as fishing.macro in your razor macro folder. [Possibly %APPDATA%/Razor/Macros]

Re: Help running Easy UO on Ubuntu 10.04

Theres a topic (states for 9.04+) that may help at:
http://www.runuo.com/community/threads/how-to-run-uo-on-ubuntu-9-04-up.98308/

Essentially says:

1. Get Wine Windows Compatibility Layer, either via System-Administration-Synaptic Package Manager or Add/Remove Programs (Ubuntu Software Center in ...
