I had the same question.
If you relayer something onto a lantern or a torch, do either of those affect parry skill, or bushiso skill?
I'd hate to be penalized for having that relayer. like the penalty in having bushido skill and holding a shield.
Or does holding a lantern act the same way as ...

Remove art tag/weapon lvl deed
I have a question, I'm sorry if the answer is already written somewhere.
Can you lvl a weapon to 100 NPS, and then remove arty tag on it, and then spend the full points without the "artifact tag" penalty?
I feel like I heard this, but before I buy a lvl deed, and lvl a weapon I want to make sure ...

Re: Relayer question
Interesting.
I'm being told by more players in game that it only takes resists from the top layer.
I don't know either way, but I think I'm not going to have any resists on my relayered shirt.

are you getting both resists?patrix wrote:i have a goc chest piece and a cloth shirt relayer and the shirt doesn't cancel out the goc resists.
I've asked in game and multiple players have told me they are wearing shirts with resists and chest pieces over top of them and they get both resists.

Interesting. Thats rather silly for it to do that, IMO.
Does the same interference occur with kilts and leggins? or Boots and leggins?

Re: Relayer question
As far as I understand it,
Weapon hits will not be effective if they are not ON the weapon. So a shirt with hit fire area will be useless.
The resistances on a shirt most certainly do add to your total resistances. Or any relayed piece.
Yes spell channeling shoes or belt will not do anything ...

Re: Build for Blaze of Death
I'm approaching lvl 90 on my blaze and for dealing max DPS there is no other weapon that comes close, IMO. (i'm doing this from memory as i'm at work and can't look) If I had to do it again, i'd probably not put lightning, and just have more area effect spells.

Re: cash?
Do champ spawns. The newbie champ spawn runs every few hours and provides a ton of gold.
I found that to be much more lucrative than doing the newbie quests.

Re: Young Player Auction January 10th
Great Idea!
I'm less than 3 months old, but I do think I'm more rich than most my age.
If the cap is 500k, I definitely don't need a sponsor, but I'd like to be registered so I can bid on items.
Thanks again!

Re: Q: multiple hit area effects
And in my experience, area effect damage is best when used on a weapon with Whirlwind. Because you can hit up to 9 targets with whirlwind, so there can be up to 9 different triggers for the area hit.
Lets say you have 9 enemies surrounding you, and you hit whirlwind.
If your weapon has 50% fire ...

Re: Harm vs Magic Arrow Test & Results
Great Info.
But I think it's a no brainier with regard to damage. Harm will do more dmg than fireball (resists being equal). If you are using a melee weapon, harm is definitely the way to go, as harm does more dmg the closer you are to the target. But if you are using a bow, and you don't intend ...
