Looks really good, big improvement.
You may want to put an extra line in about 'shrinking' pets as most new players won't understand that and also talk briefly about the Rat Quest being accessible from the training room.

Re: New player to the server
Welcome, great staff and friendly players here. Plenty of house spots and the ability to have everything on one character is amazing. Read the Wiki New Player Guide, its really good to have a clear focused path before you begin because its VERY easy to just get lost in having all your skills ...

Re: Filling in the gaps
Hi all,
So I am past the first 21 days, I have picked my first Mistvale quest to do but someone suggested to me that it was worth getting a weapon to level while in there. I don't yet have the required amount of tokens but I want to make sure I get it right when I do so I have read the wiki on ...

I think this is a quest NPC but I couldn't find anything in the Wiki. Hangs around Yew graveyard if I remember correctly.justinkace wrote:I found an NPC, Yoshimitsu I think it was, who dropped a cool ninja suit and double swords. I assume it's nothing special, but just in case....?

Re: Filling in the gaps
Thanks Asmodean,
That covers quite a lot of what I needed to know. Do Dragons actually do less damage than mules? I appreciate mules are more efficient as they only use one slot BUT dragons are pretty cool right? I know they take up a lot of the screen as well which can be an issue I imagine at ...

Re: Filling in the gaps
Firstly, thank you Fiernocht and Gaara.
The main areas I am struggling with are these,
1/ Weapons and Armour, what should I be making to equip myself with at GM Smith level for 'General Adventuring'? I never fully understood the changes from AR to Resistances [with different metals and leather ...

Hello Excelsior. I'm a UO old timer. I started playing it when it launched and it still holds a pretty special place in my heart.
Now I'm a working man and a dad to boot, and I'm keen to introduce my son to the UO experience. However the brutal PK experience I remember is not all that much fun ...

Re: New player question
So it means, in the beggining I have to train Animal tamming and stuff for healing pets only. So any fighting skill like Swormanship is useless right now?
You probably want ok fighting skills to start off with so you can do the rat quest as often as possible. Look it up in the new player section ...

Re: New Player - A quick question
In SOME dungeons you are okay. You'll get a warning popup, if they are gonna attack you or not. If you do, a good way to see what is around is simply remove all your clothing/weapons/armor and bank EVERYTHING. Then go in and die. Then while a ghost just go explore. :) I still do that sometimes ...
