Re: Spellcrafting

That would have been a solution if Evasion worked properly here like it does on OSI. Alas, such is not the case...

Re: Spellcrafting

I think I misled you on the Cu's. I listed them as favorite hunting pets among some, but I do believe they take 3 slots. But with Cleric Spell healing and bandies, they become meat shields for newer players. Also, you can increase the number of follower slots through using EDs (another reason this i...

Works for me! Just didn't know if you were aware. And for the record, I totally agree.

Re: Edit Claim

Velius...you do realize that many of these posts you are bringing up are 1-2 years old, right?? I mean your suggestions are valid, but they might be in vain on topics this old.

Just didn't know if you noticed that detail or not.

Re: Spellcrafting

True about the redundency, but it might also allow players to gear up to the point where you can have some variety in hunt styles (currently I would say there are the Druid spell hunters -trees and volcanic erupts, tamers -most players fit here with packs of nobles/mules/Cu's/etc- and the over the t...

Re: Spellcrafting

I can see your point about the Spellcrafting creating uber gear and throwing off the balance of a server (creating in essence an "arms race" between players/monsters). However, this is already skewed to a point, on this server with the ability to use EDs to change layers on gear (using Jac...

Re: another broken skill

I used to just hit him with a Bleed Attack and follow the blood drops...though I do wonder if AoE spells like Volcanic Eruption and Earthquake would hit and reveal him.

Re: Whats the deal?

Llexa, that works for you. As you are so fond of saying, don't speak for everyone. Redundency ,for us (my family...not speaking for anyone else), creates a boring atmosphere for us. That is my view point. I could care less if it isn't anyone elses, but it is mine. If you are completely satisfied mes...

Re: Whats the deal?

It's all good, Coli. I know I can come on like a wrecking ball some times, but I really do love the game of UO and Excelsior brought the life back to the game (for a time at least :) ) And don't ever try and down play the Portal!! That is singularly the best thing I have ever encountered for UO, in ...

Re: Whats the deal?

I am expressing my concerns. This is my vet opinion. Open your eyes, Llex before you get on your well used soapbox. I respect you as a player and a vet, but don't pick only certain things out of someone's post to attack and then chose to ignore other facts that I also point out (such as I want the s...

Re: Whats the deal?

Fair enough that the radio station may have made some people happy, but it can not be considered in game content. Anyone with an MP3 player, or heck, most radio stations I know of in my country stream their music over the internet for anyone with a connection. True enough, you can't expect to wow us...

Re: Whats the deal?

*chuckles* This is what becomes of a society when the economy was set to make it easy to gain massive wealth. When players are encouraged to start their journey in an area with rats that have rare drops which when resold will make them loads of money (mind you...from hunting normal giant rats!) and ...

Re: Four questions

I hope you don't take my above post the wrong way about making light of your questions. Far from the truth, actually, as I think many of those options would actually enhance the gaming experience, and are valid suggestions. Valid, but still a pain in the butt to change. Don't stop suggesting things ...

Re: Four questions

Unfortunately the answer to all of your questions is No. Most of these features have been for quite some time built into the actual core of the client, long before free shards existed. Although some brave scripters temp fate by making adjustments to the Core of the client to change sometimes trivial...
